Huo Mian was just pranking Qin Chu...
To her surprise, however, Mr. Qin immediately took out his wallet and put a stack of cash in Huo Mian’s hand.
Then, he boldly asked, "I just paid the fine, you can consider the rest as a tip. Also... pretty lady, can I book you for the night?"

Unwilling to admit defeat, Huo Mian answered, "One night with me isn’t worth your while since I’m too expensive. How about this, you can pay me 10 million up front, and I’ll let you have me for the year. I can even give you a discount."
"Sounds like a plan," Qin Chu said as he took out his phone.
"What are you doing?" Huo Mian asked, confused.
"I’m sending you money, didn’t you say I can have you for the year if I pay 10 million yuan to you right now?"
"Sh*t, stop it, I was kidding!" Huo Mian stuck her head inside Qin Chu’s window in a hurry in an attempt to stop him from acting absurd.
However, she fell right into his trap...
As soon as her head went in, Qin Chu immediately held her face to his and kissed her passionately.
Their make-out session was so intense that the road behind Qin Chu’s Maybach became congested, and the drivers all began honking their horns at them.
"Hey! Stop with the PDA! Why are you having car sex in the middle of the day?" a man in a BMW cursed at them, causing Huo Mian to immediately back out her neck and deftly climb into the passenger’s seat.
"Honey, can we have barbeque lamb leg tonight? I saw someone upload a photo of it onto WeChat last night, and my mouth literally watered..."
"Sure, but we have to go back to my parents’ first."
"Oh, we’re going there first?"
"Yeah, my dad called and asked us to go home for dinner. I think they miss us, so we can go back to check up on them. We’ll leave before dinner and go have barbeque lamb leg." Qin Chu was very considerate, but so was Huo Mian. "Sure, let’s go back. We can have lamb leg tomorrow night, let’s eat at your parents’ tonight, I don’t want to disappoint them."
Ever since her relationship with Qin Chu’s parents improved, she stopped doing whatever she wanted.
Now, she occasionally promised and learned to think in Qin Chu’s shoes. It was one of the reasons he loved her so much.
The two of them drove straight to the Qin Manor; Qin Chu had been really busy recently and hadn’t been home in a while.
The Qin couple was elated to see their son and daughter-in-law e home for dinner.
"Wash your hands, dinner’s ready!" Mrs. Qin smiled as she greeted them. She smiled!
Qin Yumin walked downstairs as he took off his reading glasses. "Your mom has a sharp tongue, but she’s really soft-hearted. She knows that Mian likes seafood, so she especially ordered a bunch to be flown in today. Everything’s really fresh."
"Thank you." Huo Mian nodded at Mrs. Qin, and Qin Chu reminded her quietly, "You need to call her ’mom’..."
Huo Mian’s face immediately turned red. After some hesitation, she said, "Thanks, Mom."
Mrs. Qin was holding a bowl of crabs when she heard Huo Mian say this, and she literally froze in her steps.
She probably never thought that one day, Huo Mian would let go of everything that happened and call her ’mom’.
"Mom, what are you standing there for, where’s your red pocket? Mian didn’t just call you ’mom’ for free!" Qin Chu purposely said, really loudly.
Embarrassed, Huo Mian elbowed Qin Chu to get him to stop talking. She didn’t want Mrs. Qin to think that she called the latter ’mom’ just so she could get money.
It seemed like Mr. Qin had been plotting this moment ever since Yang Meirong gave him a red pocket at Sky Blessing Court.
Qin Chu sure was a schemer, even ripping off his own mother.
Upon hearing what her son said, Mrs. Qin immediately came back to her senses. She quickly put down the crabs in her hands and ran upstairs.
