"Miss Qin, you need to hold an end of the year conference after you return. After, you have to release the new products for the uping quarter, as well as attend business meetings with North American clients. The president wants you to take care of these things."
"What about my father?"
"The president is currently in Dubai discussing business with some clients in the middle east. He’ll be back in about three days."
"Okay, I see. I’ll see you later."
She hung up and was about to go downstairs to have a chat with her brother and sister-in-law.
After all, she was going to leave tomorrow...
However, she got a facetime call.
"What is it?" Qin Ning picked up and asked Tang Chuan in a slightly unfriendly tone.
"What are you doing?"
"Nothing, I just finished packing..."
"Packing? Uh, are you really in such a big hurry?"
"Yeah, I booked my flight a long time ago. I have a lot of things to take care of..."
"Okay, if you want to go, I can’t stop you. However, since we’re new friends, I want to treat you to a farewell dinner... So, would you have dinner with me?"
"Now?" Qin Ning looked at her watch, and it was already eight-thirty.
"Now’s not too late too though, it’s just past eight."
"It’s a bit inconvenient, I have to rest. I’ve got a flight to catch tomorrow... Sorry."
Qin Ning straight up refused. To be frank, she had no interest in Tang Chuan’s dinner plans.
"You won’t even humor me? What did I do wrong?"
"Nothing."
"Am I that dislikable?"
"Not too dislikable..." Qin Ning slowly said.
"Not too dislikable... That ment... Ugh, it makes my head hurt."
Qin Ning didn’t reply...
"Okay, see you," Tang Chuan hung up.
Qin Ning went downstairs into the living room and began chatting with Huo Mian and Qin Chu.
On the other hand, Tang Chuan rose up and walked out of the VIP room of a nightclub.
"Young Master Tang, where are you going? You just got here..." a few rich heirs yelled after him.
"Have fun, I’m going to see a friend."
Tang Chuan felt that Qin Ning was different from all the girls he knew.
The more Qin Ning rejected him, the more he wanted to approach her.
After Tang Chuan went downstairs, he drove his flaming red Ferrari to South Hill Manor.
He thought that it would be impolite for him to visit empty-handed, so when he passed by a store, he directly bought ten fruit bouquets.
He even bought five huge durians, two boxes of Haagen Dazs, and a cake from Black Swan for the twins.
Qin Ning, Qin Chu, and Huo Mian were chatting over tea.
They didn’t pay much attention to the doorbell, they thought that it was one of their family members returning.
When a maid opened the door, Tang Chuan, out of breath, said, "Guys, e and help me bring stuff inside."
Huo Mian and Qin Chu finally saw that the unexpected guest was Tang Chuan.
"Young Master Tang, what’s going on?" Huo Mian rose and approached him with a confused look on her face.
"Nothing, I’m just visiting my twin nieces..."
Whilst he spoke, the maids brought in his things.
They laid them on the ground, and both Huo Mian and Qin Chu were shocked by what was there.
Ten fruit baskets, five huge durians, Haagen Dazs ice cream, and Black Swan cake.
"Are you crazy..." Qin Ning was speechless.
"The food is for the twins... I have another reason for visiting..." Tang Chuan got straight to the point.
"What reason?" Huo Mian curiously asked.
