The latter’s bodyguards immediately rushed up, but Huo Siqian stopped them. "Don’t joke around, President Su, what did I do to my little sister Mian?"
"I know about Shen Mingxi and Huo Yanyan, why did you have to get Mian involved? Just because I didn’t do anything about it doesn’t mean that you can do whatever you want!"
"President Su, calm down... people might think Mian’s your wife." Huo Siqian smiled nonchalantly, but he glared at Su Yu with condescension.
Huo Siqian was right; who was Su Yu to protect Huo Mian’s honor? Who was he to her?
Huo Siqian, satisfied with the expression on Su Yu’s face after his remarks, continued, "Has my brother-in-law been too busy these days? Why is President Su doing all of this in lieu of him?"
"Asshole... shut up!" Su Yu was so angry that his face turned purple.
"Don’t be so mad, President Su. We’ve known each other for years. Sit down, let’s talk."
"Talk? Screw you! Don’t you dare make Huo Mian’s life difficult... or else I’m going to cut you up!"
Su Yu was on the verge of killing Huo Siqian; however, too many people were watching them, so he couldn’t do anything else. If the media took photos and they made headlines because of them, things may be blown out of proportion again. After all, they were upper-class people.
Moreover, with the 17th CPC National Congress going on, Su Yu couldn’t let his grandfather down. Therefore, he decided to throw Huo Siqian a serious threat.
"Yu, you should be thanking me. If it weren’t for me, you would’ve never had the chance to be by Mian’s side for four years... you should learn to be satisfied with what you have."
Although Huo Siqian’s collar was tightly grabbed by Su Yu, he still had the energy to test Su Yu’s patience.
"F*ck you, if you didn’t exist, none of this would’ve happened. I would give up my four years with Mian any day to not see her live such an empty life..." Su Yu said under his breath.
"You sound so noble. It’s okay though, let’s see where things go. Soon, Mian will disappear from your life..." Huo Siqian said, smiling mysteriously.
"What do you mean by that? What are you planning to do to her?" Su Yu got goosebumps and became nervous after hearing what he said.
