A tear slid down Professor Lu’s cheek...
Lin Ya raised her hand and wiped the tear from his face...
"Don’t cry. I’m back..."
Hearing the words "I’m back", Professor Lu’s heart melted.
Ignoring everything around them, he pulled Lin Ya into his arms.
They met each other for the first time here more than twenty years ago. Today, they met each other again in the same place.

Professor Lu then got into Lin Ya’s car; she took him into a private property in a very remote area.
This property was so big that it looked like a plantation.
With birds singing and flowers blooming, this place looked as grand as a palace.

"This is my property. I bought it."
Without a word, Professor Lu followed her into the beautiful villa and sat down on the sofa in the living room.
A housemaid brought in fruits and coconut juice and placed them on the tea table.
Professor Lu seemed to have no interest in the surroundings. He just stared at Lin Yan’s familiar face with strong emotions inside.

Professor Lu was sure that Lin Yan’s youthful face wasn’t a result of injections or plastic surgeries.
Her youthful face looked natural, not like the result of maintenance.

She reached out her hand and placed it on the back of his hand.
Her hand wasn’t warm, but chilly.

Professor Lu turned his hand and held her hand.

She picked up the glass and sipped the juice before handing it to Professor Lu.
She seemed to be showing him that it had no poison in it.
Professor Lu took the glass. Before he drank, he asked a question, catching her by surprise.
