With Liu Jia’s comnt, the rest of the class suddenly realized that the na "Li Yuan" did seem rather unusual.

"Damn, I knew that na sounded familiar. Isn’t that Li Er’s dad’s na?" a male student blurted out.

"Exactly! If Liu Jia hadn’t ntioned it, I wouldn’t have made the connection. Emperor Gaozu of Tang, Li Yuan, has a very low profile in Huaxia’s history. The historical records say that establishing the Datang was mostly Li Er’s achievent... but you have to admit, this Li Yuan here has so serious nerve."

"Um, is it possible that we don’t get to choose our own nas?"

"You’ve got a point. Nas are given by our parents, so now I’m curious. Li Yuan, what’s your father’s na?"

"I found it! The father of Emperor Gaozu of Tang was Emperor Shizong of Tang, Li Bin."

"Haha, we should ask Li Yuan if his dad is really nad Li Bin."

"Crap, I just thought of sothing. My surna is Li too, and my na is Li Xiaoye. Wasn’t there an emperor later in the Datang nad Li Ye...?"

"This is killing , hahaha! Xiaoye, I really want to know, what are you going to call Li Yuan when you see him?"

"Huh? Uh, we’ll just call each other by our nas, right?"

Li Yuan, with his keen hearing, naturally overheard his classmates’ discussion. He was utterly speechless. His na was indeed a bit bizarre. Generally, anyone who knew a bit of history wouldn’t na their child this. However, his father, Li Heng, had only finished middle school before heading out to make his way in the world, so it was perfectly normal for him to be ignorant of history. But speaking of which, wasn’t there an emperor in the Datang nad Li Heng? And he was a descendant of the original Li Yuan? Damn it, I can’t think about this. It sses up the generations completely.

Li Yuan had already decided he would absolutely not let his classmates find out his father’s na.

"Liu Jia, our parents give us our nas. Your question is pointless," Li Yuan said, exasperated.

Liu Jia just chuckled and didn’t press the topic. He had only brought it up to give Li Yuan a better introduction and make a morable impression on the class.

"Alright then, Old Li, let’s start the real ga. It’s the one you taught us the other day: Truth or Dare."

Liu Jia smiled as he spoke, then explained the rules of the ga to the class. This kind of ga was new to them. The students’ curiosity was piqued, and they looked forward to Li Yuan and Liu Jia’s performance even more.

Li Yuan’s heart skipped a beat. He had a bad feeling about this. "Can I choose not to play?" he asked faintly.

"Of course not. Since this is a novel way to introduce ourselves, we’ll take turns. One question each, alternating between truth and dare. We’ll just do three questions in total, so it will only take a little of everyone’s ti." Liu Jia watched Li Yuan with a half-smile, curious to see what he would choose.

Li Yuan retorted, "Then why do you get to ask first?"

Liu Jia answered as if it were the most obvious thing in the world, "Because I ca up on stage first. This is my ho turf."

Li Yuan was left speechless.

"Fine. I’ll choose Truth for the first round. Go ahead and ask."

Liu Jia wore the triumphant expression of a successful scher. "Hehe, okay, I’m asking. And you have to be completely honest with our classmates, you hear?"

Li Yuan raised an eyebrow, a sense of foreboding washing over him. "You scher, Liu Jia. What exactly do you want to ask?"

Liu Jia winked at him. "First question: Li Yuan, do you have a girlfriend?"

The question wasn’t difficult to answer. Not only did he not have one, but even if he did, he would have to say no with the entire class watching. Because that treasure of a girl, Xia Zhijin, was secretly watching him.

Li Yuan stole a glance at Xia Zhijin. Their eyes t, and like a startled fawn, she instantly buried her head.

"No. I’ve been flying solo since birth, eighteen years and counting." Li Yuan answered without a single blush, even feigning the shy deanor of an innocent young man.

Liu Jia laughed, dumbfounded. With an answer like that, how am I supposed to continue the act? Damn it! I risked my own reputation to give you a chance to show off, and you just don’t appreciate it, do you? So neither of those celestial-looking girls is your girlfriend, right?

"Li Yuan, in Truth or Dare, once you make a choice, you have to follow through. That’s a rule of the ga. Are you sure you’re telling the truth?"

Li Yuan gave a glib reply, "It’s the truest truth there is. I’m really single. To the twenty-four beautiful young ladies in our class, if you want to make a move, you’d better act fast. I’m an easy catch—just take out for a al and I’m yours."

"Wait, I almost forgot our beautiful, gentle, mature, intelligent, sexy, and adorable instructor, Qi Siyu, who is loved by all, makes flowers bloom in her presence, and could make a Mazda’s tires burst just by looking at her... That makes twenty-five beautiful ladies in total. I hereby solemnly declare that I am single!"

Liu Jia’s eyes widened. "Old Li, you really live up to your surna. That’s so nerve you’ve got—it must be hereditary. You even dare to have ideas about our instructor, Mrs. Qi."

A faint blush appeared on Qi Siyu’s face, and her beautiful eyes couldn’t help but linger on Li Yuan. This handso freshman was certainly a smooth talker.

Li Yuan’s response sent the class into an uproar of laughter. One of the more outgoing girls loudly teased, "Li Yuan, are you, a grown man, actually looking to be a kept man?"

Li Yuan looked over and saw that the speaker was the flirtatious Wang Jierong. He answered with a smile, "Student Wang, I’ve always had great integrity. I just prefer to be a kept man... on my own terms."

Wang Jierong flashed a brilliant smile. "Well, Handso Li, would you like to be kept by ? I can give you a chance."

Li Yuan let his gaze linger on her for a mont. She certainly had an impressive figure, a D-cup at least, and probably all-natural. It would be more than enough to feed a 234-month-old baby like him. He wouldn’t starve; there was plenty of fresh protein. If they were alone, Li Yuan wouldn’t mind "educating" a girl like Wang Jierong, but it was obviously not appropriate here, especially with the precious Xia Zhijin present.

Li Yuan put on a serious expression. "Thank you for the kind offer, Student Wang, but my mom told that beautiful girls are liars and that I shouldn’t get into a relationship in college."

Wang Jierong was taken aback for a second, instantly understanding that Li Yuan was politely rejecting her. However, this didn’t make her back down. Instead, it only piqued her interest in him even more.

"Heehee, Li Yuan, you’re very interesting. I’ll rember you."

"I’d rather you didn’t," Li Yuan muttered to himself. Seeing that Wang Jierong had fallen silent, he turned to Liu Jia. "It’s my turn to ask, Liu Jia. Do you choose Truth or Dare?"

Liu Jia answered without a shred of hesitation, "Truth!"

Li Yuan’s eyes darted around as a good question ca to mind. "Liu Jia, with so many cute, pretty, and gentle girls in our class, who do you want to pursue the most?"

As soon as Li Yuan posed the question, everyone’s curiosity was ignited. This question-and-answer style of introduction was far more entertaining than a simple monologue. Leave it to a dynamic duo like Liu Jia and Li Yuan to co up with sothing like this.

For a mont, Liu Jia just stamred, his face turning bright red. He didn’t answer, his evasive gaze flickering over the students below.

Wu Hao was already laughing and egging him on. "Co on, Old Liu, hurry up and answer! And rember, it has to be the truth!"

The other students, both boys and girls, watched with suppressed laughter and began whispering among themselves.

"Hahaha, Liu Jia really shot himself in the foot this ti. Look how red his face is! He definitely has a crush on soone. I’m dying to know who it is."

"Those two are seriously bold, playing a ga like this during the first freshman class eting. If it were , I would die of social anxiety... But watching them is pretty fun, it’s like a cody routine."

"It really is interesting. Look, even our instructor, Mrs. Qi, is watching with great interest. I never knew freshman self-introductions could be like this. Why didn’t I think of it?"

"Heh, even if you did think of it, would you dare to try? Would anyone even play along with you?"

"Damn, you’ve got a point. I’m speechless."

"Girls, who do you think Liu Jia will choose? Or will he just lie?"

"Hmph, I bet Liu Jia will lie. He’ll probably say there’s no one he likes in our class, or that the girl he likes goes to another university."

"Jierong, you really know how guys think."

"Tch. n. They’re all the sa!"

Seeing Liu Jia hesitate and stamr, Li Yuan urged him on teasingly, "Co on, Liu Jia, spit it out! Don’t tell you’re going to chicken out, haha!"

Spurred on by Li Yuan’s words, Liu Jia’s blood rushed to his head, and he blurted out, "I want to pursue Wang Jierong!"
