"Sis." Ye Qiu answered the phone, and a joyful and upbeat young voice ca through, "I received the strawberries you sent, they’re so sweet!"
"Then eat more of them." Ye Qiu’s lips curved into a slight smile, "How are you doing recently, feeling alright?"
"I’m doing great, Sis, you don’t need to worry, I haven’t been to the hospital in these two months!"
"That’s good to hear. You like strawberries, so I’ll send you so more in a few days."
"That’s such a hassle, I could just buy so myself if I wanted to eat."
"The ones you buy definitely won’t taste as good as mine." Ye Qiu chuckled, "It’s no bother, I’ll send so other fruits along in a few days."
"Sis, how co the fruit from your place tastes even better than at ho! Is it a new variety?"
"You could say that."
"Sis, has anyone been picking on you at school?"
"Nope."
"And nobody’s chasing after you?"
"Nope."
"How is that possible?" the young man said in surprise, "Sis, you must be pulling my leg."
"I’m not lying to you."
"Alright, I’ll take your word for it." The young man’s voice was hesitant, then he added, "Sis, but you have to promise , don’t just get a boyfriend easily, and if you do get one, I have to et him first."
Ye Qiu has always indulged her brother, so she assured him: "Sure, no problem."
"Sis, I ca third in our school in this month’s exams."
Ye Qiu praised with a laugh: "Zhouzhou is really amazing!"
"Not really." It was clear from his voice that the young man on the phone was a bit shy, and Ye Qiu could imagine the delicate and fair-skinned young man was blushing at this mont.
"Sis, I want to apply for J University, what do you think?" the young man said with so trepidation.
"Your grades definitely won’t be a problem, but have you really decided?"

Ye Qiu gently advised him: "You shouldn’t choose a university because of , the most important thing is your own interests, have you decided on what major you want to study?"
"I have, Biology."

The young man’s voice over the phone was soft, as if it could be swept away by the wind, Ye Qiu’s heart clenched with pain, like being pricked by a needle. "Alright, Sis supports you."

After hanging up the phone, Ye Qiu thought of the youth on the other end and silently smiled. This was her little brother, after all. "Lanlan hasn’t co to class for a week now, what about her howork?" Cao Lu asked with a frown.
"I sent it to her, but she didn’t do it. She said to have copy it for her."
"That’s not very good!" Being roommates, Cao Lu didn’t speak too harshly. Her parents were both professors, and she had always taken her studies seriously from a young age, firmly opposing things like plagiarism.
"What else can we do? I think what she cares about most right now is her web series," said Liu Qingqing indifferently.

"Forget it, I’ll just give her a call," Cao Lu hesitated for a mont but still held firm to her principles.
"Hey, Lu Lu, what’s up?" The voice over the phone sounded quite noisy, Lanlan’s tone was loud, causing Liu Qingqing to perk up her ears and put down her pen.
"Lanlan, I sent you the howork assigned by the teacher yesterday to your email, did you see it?"
"There’s more howork?!" Lanlan complained loudly, "But I’m really busy now and just don’t have the ti to do it."
It seed soone was calling for Lanlan on the other end; she replied and hurriedly said into the phone, "Lu Lu, could you please do the howork for ? I really don’t have ti right now, please and thank you!" She didn’t wait for a response and hung up.
Liu Qingqing listened wholeheartedly, threw an "I told you so" look at Cao Lu, and turned back to peacefully do her own howork.
"This can’t go on, she might even fail her classes," Cao Lu said with a furrowed brow, her tone laced with concern.
"If she’s not worried about it herself, why should you? Maybe she doesn’t care at all!" Liu Qingqing said nonchalantly.
After so thought, Cao Lu still sent Lanlan a text ssage, basically stating that she wouldn’t do her howork for her and hoped Lanlan could complete it herself, then she set a final deadline for submitting the howork and let it go.
"Alright, it’s not your problem anyway. Look at Ye Zi, she never cares about these boring things, and see how good her skin is."
"We’re in the sa dorm after all, alright, I was just reminding her. It won’t interfere with my own things."
Lanlan, having received the ssage, was upset that her dormmates wouldn’t help her with her howork but didn’t take it to heart. To her, the final exam was just the knowledge from the books, and that was simple for her. She believed that as long as she got high scores on the exams, losing so behavior points from ti to ti was not a big deal.
