"Run!"
"Liu Li, I can’t run anymore." Su Ruoxi was panting heavily, feeling more exhausted than ever before.
"Do you want to die?" Leng Liuli dragged her, hissing fiercely, "If you want to die, don’t drag down with you."
As noise ca from behind, Su Ruoxi found the strength to flee again. She didn’t want to die; Junxuan was waiting for her, she must not die.
"Bang!" Another gunshot, and this ti they weren’t so lucky; Su Ruoxi, lagging a step behind, was shot in the leg.
"Ah!" Su Ruoxi scread in agony, tripping over, and since her hand was holding Leng Liuli’s, the inertia made Leng Liuli stumble as well.

"What do you want?" Leng Junxuan, also holding a gun, aid at Liu Quan, "Let them go, you can’t escape. Give up now and you might have a chance to repent."
But Liu Quan didn’t care about Leng Junxuan’s threats; he never intended to live after what he’d done today: "Leng Junxuan, one is your dear sister, the other your woman, make your choice. Who lives? Who dies?"
"Let them go, take as your hostage." Leng Junxuan put down his gun, signaling his sincerity.
Liu Quan shook his head, sneering: "No, I don’t want your life, I want you to choose. After all, only one of these won can live today, if you don’t choose, then both of them die."
"Kill and let Liu Li go," Su Ruoxi roared, "Junxuan, don’t worry about , save Liu Li."
"I..." Leng Junxuan’s forehead was covered in cold sweat, hesitating, not knowing what to say.

The twist happened at that mont; in a flash, Leng Liuli turned and grabbed Liu Quan’s right hand, while with her foot, she kicked away the pistol pointed at Su Ruoxi.

One shot was Liu Quan’s gun firing into the air, the other was Leng Junxuan gunning him down.
"Do you realize how dangerous that was!" Leng Junxuan scolded Leng Liuli, disapproving of her recent actions.
Leng Liuli coldly retorted, "All I know is that you were clueless, and I broke the standoff."
"You..." Leng Junxuan was left speechless.
Leng Liuli continued to stare at him emotionlessly, her eyes filled with disappointnt: "Brother, this is not like you. It was just a petty bandit, and you could have resolved this situation. I don’t understand why you panic whenever she’s involved."

Ye Qiu and Zhong iying exchanged wedding rings under the watchful eyes of family and friends, their faces brimming with happiness.

But after everything that Leng Junxuan and Su Ruoxi had been through, how could they possibly break up?
"Soon, but we might not have a banquet. We’ll invite our friends to drink later," Leng Junxuan said indifferently, his face showed signs of fatigue, but seeing Su Ruoxi by his side, he regained his strength. "Thank you, Dad." Su Ruoxi forced a smile, her heart heavy with sadness. She thought of the lavish wedding Ye Qiu had with Zhong iying not long ago, while she couldn’t gain recognition from the Leng Family, and even their simple al felt so bleak. She used to think that as long as two people loved each other, they could overco anything, but now she still felt so cold. Why was there such a big gap between people?
"Xixi." Leng Junxuan looked at Su Ruoxi, his eyes filled with love and apology.
Su Ruoxi snapped back to reality, feeling a surge of warmth in her heart. It was a relief that Junxuan’s feelings for her remained unchanged.
