There has been quite a buzz within Changfeng Hospital over the past couple of days, and it is all because the head of the gastroenterology departnt, Li Xiumin, along with his wife from the procurent departnt and their daughter, who had been a surgical doctor for less than a year, resigned together.
Li Xiumin is a veteran doctor of the hospital, and because he had a good relationship with the hospital director, he had always enjoyed smooth sailing. Now that the entire family resigned together, everyone is speculating whether they had offended the director.
Later, a colleague from the procurent departnt revealed that during her tenure, Li Xiumin’s wife repeatedly took advantage of her position to receive kickbacks. Although the director did not report her to the police, he pressured her to return the illicit gains of these years.
