Now reading: Chapter 10: Beast World - Beginning (8) from Quick Transmigration: The Female Supporting Role Live for Themselves, a Fantasy novel by Sorahana.

Living in the beast world, everything was so simple.

When Xiang Kui saw the toilet there, she even wanted to curse the system for giving her such an inexplicable first mission.

Unfortunately, she couldn’t really do anything.

*sigh*

’The first thing I have to do is definitely rectifying the toilet. I really can’t stand it.’ Xiang Kui thought to herself as she walked out.

Sheng Xiang Lang had already left early. He said that he wanted to scout the mountains’ area first to make sure that he would not bump with the wolf from the Green Mountain Wolf Tribe.

Even though both of them were wolf tribe, their relationship was far from harmonious.

Xiang Kui didn’t know the exact details, though.

What she knew was that the Green Mountain Wolf Tribe hated their Wolf Tribe. Oh, their wolf tribe’s na is Green River Wolf Tribe.

"Eat sothing first," Jun Lin said as he put the raw at on the bowl. It was the leftover from last night’s al that was placed in the deep cave where the cold temperature helped it remain relatively fresh.

The beast n would not keep the food for long during Sumr, but it didn’t an that they have no ans to do so.

Burying the at and keeping them at the back cave where the temperature was lower would allow them to keep the at longer. Beside, night ti is colder than day ti, so it was still possible to keep the food they hunted yesterday for today’s al.

Still, Xiang Kui was still thinking about making so ice.

Xiang Kui silently glanced at the cave and then shook her head lightly. This cave was made artificially by the beast n, so it would be hard to find saltpeter here.

She should find so rock formations or natural cave that was not occupied for a long ti.

The chance of finding saltpeter would be higher at that ti.

After having ice, it wouldn’t be a problem to store the food for a much longer ti even if it was Sumr.

’But not now.’

Xiang Kui nibbled on the food while thinking and Jun Lin ca back while carrying a small basket filled with herbs.

"Uncle Mian brought these things not long ago. Do you want to use them?"

Xiang Kui looked at the herbs and was pleasantly surprised. "Yes! Give it to !"

Jun Lin handed the basket and Xiang Kui happily took it.

Seeing how happy Xiang Kui is, Jun Lin was a bit confused.

He couldn’t understand what was so interesting about these herbs since wolves are carnivores.

If it was not because the herbs were useful to treat their wounds and injuries, no carnivore beast n would bother learning about it.

They would rather find so at to eat.

"Co with to Uncle Mian’s place later, Jun Lin!"

Xiang Kui finished eating and seeing that there was still quite a lot of at left, she decided to bring it to Uncle Mian and Aunt Mian.

There was no refrigerator here and it would be a waste not to eat the at.

Jun Lin looked at Xiang Kui with so suspicion, but he still nodded.

"Good."

The original Xiang Kui didn’t like to go to Uncle Mian and Aunt Mian’s place.

The main reason was because she hated the sll of herbs, which would remind her of injuries and training that her father let her do.

If it was not because she was still too young to take over the tribe when her father passed away, he might have long pushed the original Xiang Kui to beco the chief of the tribe. Of course, they would have to settle the problem of the tribe having a female as their chief.

It was unusual.

Most female didn’t have much to do and were not that capable either as they spent their ti at ho with their cubs and so on.

The original Xiang Kui’s father hoped that his daughter could be a powerful one.

But hey...

It was difficult.

"Uncle Mian, Aunt Mian, I’m here to play with you," Xiang Kui said with Jun Lin following behind her carrying the basket of at.

"Ah, Kui’er, you don’t have to co." Aunt Mian looked at Xiang Kui helplessly and dotingly. She felt that the current Xiang Kui seed to be a bit different from before, but she just attributed it to the fact that Xiang Kui was heartbroken and let herself go.

In any case, the current Xiang Kui seed to be better than before.

Aunt Mian felt that such situation was actually quite good.

"There are still a lot of food left and Sheng Xiang Lang is already hunting for more, so I would like to bring the leftover to you," Xiang Kui said with her chin raised as if she was proud.

Aunt Mian felt helpless, but she still accepted it.

In the end, Aunt Mian and Xiang Kui started to make so clothes from the tiger skin that Xiang Kui obtained.

The original Xiang Kui was not good at needlework, so it would be reasonable for her to co and find Aunt Mian to ask for help.

Aunt Mian was also happy to help Xiang Kui.

Uncle Chen saw the two of them were chatting harmoniously and choose not to disturb as he went to the back and was busy with his own herbs.

Jun Lin leaned against the wall, watching Xiang Kui and Aunt Mian chatting and laughing with each other. He felt that the scene was really harmonious and for a mont, he felt that such a thing is really good.

Before Jun Lin could delve deeper into this feeling, there was a rapid footsteps from outside.

"Doctor Mian! Help take a look at Xue Yue Lan!" Zhang Fang Xin almost barged in and kicked the door while carrying Xue Yue Lan on his arm.

Everyone turned to look at Zhang Fang Xin with surprise, and then their attention fell on Xue Yue Lan on his arm.

"What happened?" Hearing that there was a patient, Uncle Mian quickly ca out and ordered Zhang Fang Xin to put Xue Yue Lan on the bed.

Xiang Kui pursed her lips when she saw the two of them and Aunt Mian was secretly watching over Xiang Kui with distress. She didn’t want to see Xiang Kui sad about Zhang Fang Xin.

But it was not easy to talk about it when the other party was still present.

Jun Lin’s eyes darkened slightly and his eyes moved towards Xue Yue Lan on the bed. Well, it seed that Zhang Fang Xin was not here to make trouble.

Xue Yue Lan’s face was pale.

Her originally white skin looked even paler than before, which easily invoke pity from others. Her eyebrows were creased as she held Zhang Fang Xin’s hand tightly, as if trying to draw so strength from him.

Her appearance made Zhang Fang Xin even more panicked, but he was not a doctor.

He could only try his best to ask Uncle Mian.

"Hmm, do you feel cold?"
