At this mont, an arrow suddenly shot past my ear, with unstoppable force, accurately hitting a deer hidden in the grass.

Next to , Luoyang looked over, and seeing that it was just an ordinary deer, felt relieved. Thankfully, it wasn’t the Deer King.

Looking again, Jiang Ling was putting away his longbow and riding over.

"Prince Pingyin, this is..."

"This is the youngest daughter of the Chief Historian’s family."

"The Chief Historian... I thought the family only had one son, never heard of a daughter."

"Always pampered outside, just brought back."

Jiang Ling nodded towards Luoyang, and the next mont turned his horse and left.

"This man is too dangerous, he’s Jiang Xiong’s adopted son, he might spoil things."

From the bottom of his heart, Murong Dun felt Jiang Ling was not a good person, and was even more resentful because of what happened yesterday. It seed he was really trying to sow discord between Jiang Lai and him.

What is his agenda?

Beside him, Luoyang, after pondering, said.

"Just an adopted son, but also soone eager for fa and wealth, just keep an eye on him."

After saying that, Luoyang took a small packet of powder from his bosom, scattered it on the surrounding grassland, and then pulled Murong Dun to hide behind the bushes, patiently waiting.

"What’s that powder?"

"Datura pollen, effective in attracting animals."

"Did you make these powders yourself?"

"Partly yes, don’t make a sound, it’s getting windy, listen carefully to the surroundings."

At this mont, the nearby dense grass suddenly rustled and shook with great movent, causing happiness to light up in Luoyang’s eyes.

He stringed the bow and drew the arrow, just about to aim when he realized the grass moved too quickly, like a swift wind, too fast, causing Luoyang to frown.

"Wrong, it’s not a deer."

Murong Dun also quickly realized sothing was amiss, how could a deer be so fast, nor make such a big noise, and seeing this situation, it was possible that behind the grass...

"Run fast!! It’s a tiger!!"

Murong Dun shouted urgently, turned his horse to run, while Luoyang behind him shouted, turning back, Luoyang’s horse got startled, the rider wobbled precariously, Murong Dun saw this and quickly galloped over, catching her in his embrace before she fell and lost control.

"How are you? Don’t be afraid, hold on to ."

Luoyang with a pale face nestled in Murong Dun’s embrace, her voice trembling, her gaze fixed on the huge tiger with bull-like size, white forehead and glaring eyes, instinctively clinging to Murong Dun’s clothes.

"Let’s go, let’s go!"

——

The hunting competition was in full swing, Jiang Lai already had two wild chickens hanging on the horse, now her eyes were set on a plump grey rabbit, just as she was quietly approaching, a peculiar scent wafted by the wind, perating the surroundings, the rabbit, initially eating grass, suddenly stopped, turned its head, quietly staring in Jiang Lai’s direction, looking sowhat dazed.

Jiang Lai was puzzled, when a dart suddenly shot out from behind, precisely pinning the rabbit through.

This kill steal made Jiang Lai furiously turn back, behind her, Jiang Ling on horseback was smiling as he dismounted, directly pulled out the arrow from the rabbit, tossed the lifeless rabbit into the basket on the horse’s back.

"You snatched my prey!"

"The rule here at this hunting ground is whoever shoots it owns it, what? Not happy?"

Jiang Lai suppressed her rage, looking at the nonchalant face before her, gritted her teeth and smiled.

"Is this the only rule at the hunting ground?"

"Yes, only one rule."

Jiang Lai nodded, seeing Jiang Ling about to leave, took out a gold ingot from her bosom and tossed it at the horse’s leg.

The horse neighed in pain, its hind legs abruptly kneeled down.

Jiang Ling swiftly reacted and landed before the horse fell, behind him ca Jiang Lai’s gloating laugh.

"Since you don’t understand the rules, let your sister teach you today, what are the rules!"

After speaking, Jiang Lai whipped her horse and ran, she couldn’t beat Jiang Ling, but could four legs outrun two?

While thinking this, suddenly a shadow descended above, looking up, she saw Jiang Ling, clad in a black robe, standing on the treetop above her. Before Jiang Lai could react and run, the man leapt down directly onto the horse’s back.

Jiang Lai turned to kick him, Jiang Ling reached out, firmly grasping her ankle, with a forceful swing, Jiang Lai’s upper body directly suspended outward, the horse beneath her restless and frantic, ran fiercely fast, her face about to hit the ground, Jiang Lai grasped Jiang Ling’s belt without concern, pulling tightly, shouting.

"Help—!! Soone’s stealing my horse!! Soone’s robbing—"

The remaining words were muffled by a hand.

Jiang Lai opened her mouth to bite, Jiang Ling clearly didn’t foresee this move, his fingers got bitten hard, frowned in pain.

"Are you a dog, Jiang Lai?"

"Get off my horse, damn you!"

"Don’t move! Or I’ll throw you off!"

Jiang Lai clung to him, his belt was pulled all askew, but his body sat steadily on the horse, firmly balanced.

"As siblings, can’t we avoid mutual destruction, dear brother, I’ll give you the horse, just stop and let down first."

Jiang Ling, however, grasped the reins with one hand and held Jiang Lai by the waist with the other, said in a deep voice.

"The horse has an issue, it won’t stop."

"Then lift up first!"

Jiang Lai’s brain felt like it would be shaken out.

Jiang Ling stopped teasing her, exerted his arm, easily pulled Jiang Lai onto the horse’s back, both hands holding the reins, bent Jiang Lai over.

"Don’t let it run deeper into the mountains!"

If they crossed the hunting ground line, there’d be no one to supervise.

Jiang Ling pursed his lips, it’d be easy for him to escape, but Jiang Lai would be in trouble, she couldn’t be hard, at least not now.

Thinking it over, Jiang Ling decided to directly kill the horse, forcing it to stop, otherwise once past the hunting ground line, it would be dangerous in the wild woods.

Just then galloping sounds ca urgently from my side, sounding familiar, Jiang Lai instantly yelled loudly once she realized.

"Husband!! Is that you?!"

Jiang Ling frowned and looked, indeed, wasn’t the person riding towards them Murong Dun?

His gaze turned intrigued seeing Murong Dun protectively holding a woman, looking down at Jiang Lai before him, he leaned closer to her ear and said.

"Looks like your husband is having a romantic mont with soone else."

Jiang Lai indeed fell silent, her gaze dimly watching Murong Dun, jolting on horseback, she bowed silent, making Murong Dun filled with remorse and unease.

But now was not the ti for these, he shouted.

"Run quicker! There’s a tiger behind!"

Tiger?

Jiang Lai’s eyes lit up, looking back, indeed the grass quickly split open on both sides.
