But after the tribe was annihilated, the wanderers no longer had a safe haven to return to. This ant they had to constantly face danger without a place to hide, so those without a ho generally died quickly in this perilous world.

These wanderers naturally were not resigned to dying like this. Without a tribe to accept them, they ford their own tribe, composed of wanderers whose original tribes had been destroyed.

In this tribe entirely made up of wanderers, there were people from all sorts of tribes. Since they didn’t have a real tribe or their own ho, they called themselves Travelers, and outside tribes collectively referred to them as the Traveler Tribe.

Much like the wanderers who had no fixed abode, the Traveler Tribe also moved from place to place. Wherever they found suitable for survival, they would settle, and when it no longer suited them, they would leave and continue to search for the next residence.

The Traveler Tribe was ostracized by all the tribes. Though they were powerful, with many people and warriors, they were not allowed to enter the Mutual Market set up by Super Tribes or stay long-term in the territories of the Great Tribes and Super Tribes.

Due to the absence of a Witch in the Traveler Tribe, when they fell ill, they couldn’t receive treatnt from a Witch. They had to rely on their own resilience; if they pulled through, they lived; if not, they died, making the existence of the Traveler Tribe very unstable.

Because even a minor ailnt that a Witch could easily cure in other tribes could be lethal to them, and if they were unlucky enough to encounter a contagious disease, it was common for the entire tribe to perish.

The Traveler Tribe was usually quite large because it was the only tribe to accept survivors whose tribes had been wiped out. Wherever the Traveler Tribe appeared, countless wanderers would join it, continuously increasing its size.

But the Traveler Tribe was also the most susceptible to destruction. It wasn’t just the lack of a Witch who could heal and save lives; the Witch often represented the Wisdom of a tribe.

Many aspects of a tribe relied on the guidance of the Witch, who could help the tribe avoid many detours in survival, make it easier for its people to live, and prevent nurous disasters.

The Traveler Tribe that Sang Nan belonged to had a large population of over five hundred, with one-fifth of them being warriors. This ratio of ordinary people to warriors was significant, likely because those who survived the destruction of their tribes were either capable warriors or physically robust ordinary people.

The warriors in Sang Nan’s tribe were Yan Shuangshuang and those behind her carrying the Sky Wolf Fierce Beast, while the ordinary people in the Traveler Tribe were in charge of so gathering tasks.

Additionally, so individuals with various health issues did what they could at the settlent, such as drying excess wild vegetables during abundant tis to last through the food-scarce cold and hot seasons, and regular tasks like cleaning Beast Skins and preparing food.

When Sang Nan told Yan Shuangshuang that he was from the Traveler Tribe, his tone carried a sense of helplessness and bitterness. They, these poor people who had lost their hos after their tribes’ demise, gathered together just trying to survive.

Was it wrong that they wanted to live and not die? Why did all the tribes reject their Traveler Tribe? They didn’t steal or rob, nor were they a Cannibal Tribe that ate people. They were no different from any other tribe.

Was it simply because their forr tribes were destroyed, that they shouldn’t have survived, and were they supposed to perish along with their tribes? Sang Nan couldn’t help clenching his fists, a heart filled with grief and indignation.

Yan Shuangshuang didn’t know Sang Nan’s thoughts. In fact, she was in an excellent mood at that mont. She didn’t reject the Traveler Tribe that was ostracized by other tribes at all! She even felt a bit of secret joy.

Yan Shuangshuang was calculating in her heart. If she could absorb this Traveler Tribe into her Yanhuang Tribe, then the Yanhuang Tribe’s population would take another step toward becoming a Great Tribe.

Right now, the Yanhuang Tribe already had over eight hundred people. Adding the Traveler Tribe’s five hundred plus people, that would amount to over thirteen hundred, nearly fourteen hundred people. Such a population could already be considered a large mid-sized tribe, a step closer to Yan Shuangshuang’s goal of a Great Tribe with five thousand people.

Most importantly, Yan Shuangshuang had just heard from Sang Nan’s words during their conversation that the Traveler Tribe actually longed to join a real tribe, one with a stable life, and a Witch who could heal and guide the tribe.

So, fully understanding Sang Nan’s thoughts, Yan Shuangshuang tentatively asked Sang Nan, "Brother Sang Nan, are you interested in joining our Yanhuang Tribe?"

"Huh?" Sang Nan, imrsed in sorrow, was startled by Yan Shuangshuang’s sudden words. He couldn’t believe the aning of Yan Shuangshuang’s words for a mont and foolishly blurted out a "huh," looking bewildered at Yan Shuangshuang.

Sang Nan never expected it. He had just been thinking that no tribe would accept their Traveler Tribe, but Yan Shuangshuang had suddenly extended an invitation to join the tribe, leaving him montarily stupefied!

Yan Shuangshuang misunderstood Sang Nan’s reaction as hesitance and quickly continued, "Our Yanhuang Tribe is not very far from here, and there is plenty of food in the tribe, enough to bear the food burden after you all join. We won’t let everyone go hungry."

This ti, Sang Nan heard Yan Shuangshuang’s words clearly, but he was stunned again. If asked if he wanted to join the Yanhuang Tribe, of course, he wanted to, desperately so.

In fact, it wasn’t just Sang Nan himself; the entire Traveler Tribe wanted this. It could be seen from the sudden collective drifting of the footsteps of the warriors carrying the Sky Wolf Fierce Beast behind him, as they all pricked up their ears to listen closely to the conversation ahead.

However, while tempted, Sang Nan still had so reservations. He didn’t know what the Yanhuang Tribe was like and feared that after bringing his tribe of wanderers to join, they would instead be ostracized, sothing he absolutely did not want to see. If that were the case, he would rather not join any tribe.

The above worries were just one aspect. More importantly, although Sang Nan felt that Yan Shuangshuang would be highly valued in her tribe, her age made it sowhat unsettling for him. What if Yan Shuangshuang’s invitation was just her own wishful thinking?

If he brought the whole Traveler Tribe to the Yanhuang Tribe full of hope, only to be turned away at the gate, what would they do then?
