These hooligans were really sinister. Originally, the tattoo dye was plant-extracted and could be washed away, but a few hooligans bribed the tattoo shop owner to use an old chemical dye that couldn’t be washed off for Wen Zhijin’s tattoo.

Once such a tattoo is inked, it’ll never co off unless you’re not afraid of leaving large scars from repeated washing.

But that would be tantamount to disfigurent because Wen Zhijin, on a whim, decided to tattoo a rose on her face and thought it was stunningly beautiful.

Though wealthy people aren’t without tattoos, including the bosses, they usually get small tattoos, just a small patch or two, and never a large area, let alone on the face.

If Wen Zhijin were an ordinary person, it wouldn’t matter, but she’s slated to inherit Wen Jianyun and Liu Yun’s company. Have you ever seen a major company boss covered in colorful tattoos?

But when Wen Zhijin just got her tattoo, she hadn’t thought about these consequences. Her tattoo was freshly done, vibrant in color, and she was reveling in its beauty without considering what to do when it faded and couldn’t be removed.

After getting the tattoo, Wen Zhijin also picked up racing, smoking, drinking, and recklessness in relationships. With Wen Jianyun and Liu Yun funding her, she could afford it.

Since realizing Wen Zhijin was so self-destructive, Wen Jianyun and Liu Yun tried teaching her repeatedly, but it was completely useless; they had entirely given up on her, now just sending her a fixed monthly allowance to sustain Wen Zhijin.

Resenting the Fang Family for raising Wen Zhijin this way, Wen Jianyun and Liu Yun pressured Fang Zhan and Bai Xiao’s company to fire the couple. After losing their jobs, Fang Zhan and Bai Xiao kept searching but to no avail.

Disheartened, Fang Zhan and Bai Xiao figured Wen Shuangshuang’s annual fifty-thousand contribution to the family was enough to not work; they entered early retirent, leisurely drinking tea, traveling, dancing, and playing chess.

Living this way for a while, Fang Zhan and Bai Xiao completely gave up on job hunting, thinking that this was the life to enjoy. Working was all about making money anyway, and they didn’t lack that; why endure a boss’s temper?

Don’t think Fang Zhan and Bai Xiao were grateful to Wen Shuangshuang for supporting them financially. Though Wen Zhijin never gave the Fang Family a di, she’s still the apple of Fang Zhan and Bai Xiao’s eye, though alas, Wen Zhijin has long forgotten the Fang Family.

Even so, Fang Zhan and Bai Xiao only blad Wen Jianyun and Liu Yun, thinking they stopped Wen Zhijin from coming back and bonding with her foster parents, never seeing it as Wen Zhijin’s coldness.

Yet towards Wen Shuangshuang, their biological daughter who gives them money, Fang Zhan and Bai Xiao had many complaints. They knew Wen Shuangshuang’s worth was very high now, with at least millions at hand temporarily, and when the company dividends ca in, it would be billions, yet she only gave her parents fifty thousand—a true prodigal daughter!

Fang Zhan and Bai Xiao daily bad-mouthed Wen Shuangshuang outside, saying she’s bad in this way and that way, not giving enough money and being unfilial. While a few people echoed them, most only nodded and listened on the surface, secretly advising their children to stay away from the Fang Family.

Wen Shuangshuang wasn’t one to leave loose ends. She didn’t visit the Fang Family but sent people to deliver gifts during festivals, asking neighbors to look after the Fang Family and leaving her number, telling them to definitely call her if needed.

Wen Shuangshuang wasn’t just gifting and sweet-talking. For the left and right neighbors of the Fang Family, she actively helped with anything. Many of their children got good jobs thanks to Wen Shuangshuang.

There were neighbors whose families needed money due to illness and couldn’t quickly sell their house. Wen Shuangshuang, upon knowing, lent fifty thousand without a second thought, saying no interest was needed, only the principal, and never urged repaynt.

In this manner, Wen Shuangshuang cared for all who were previously friendly with or lived close to the Fang Family, making everyone elsewhere in the neighborhood envy not being a neighbor of the Fang Family, only able to watch such benefits.

When Wen Shuangshuang did these, she only requested one thing from the neighbors she helped; to assist in looking after the Fang Family. If this wasn’t filial, what was?

As to why Wen Shuangshuang never returned to the Fang Family, upon hearing the abundant complaints about her from old and young Fang Family mbers, it was clear Wen Shuangshuang wasn’t welco.

Heard Wen Shuangshuang was driven out the first day she returned to the Fang Family. This made the neighbors, previously favored by Wen Shuangshuang, particularly for the Fang Family’s behavior. She was so young, not even having an ID then, leaving without anyone looking for her. If she weren’t capable, anything could’ve happened, showing how heartless and unworthy of association the Fang Family was.

Of course, Wen Shuangshuang wasn’t trying to please all neighbors. So were ungratefully bad-mouthing Wen Shuangshuang despite accepting money, calling her a rich person, and that the little money given was rely a trifle not to rember.

Such people received nothing further from Wen Shuangshuang, making them regret their audacity, angering Wen Shuangshuang and losing benefits, while envying others who continued receiving her generosity.

These were the ones chiming in with the Fang Family’s slander of Wen Shuangshuang, blaming their inability to profit from her.

But more people sided with Wen Shuangshuang, looking down upon the Fang Family and advising young generations not to associate with such ungrateful and impersonal families.

Though Wen Shuangshuang never visited the Fang Family, her reputation around them was excellent. Everyone spoke of her filial piety and integrity, while originally congenial Fang Family beca despised by everyone.

Yet everyone gained benefits from Wen Shuangshuang, so they had to respect and uphold the Fang Family. But Fang Zhan and Bai Xiao were oblivious to the reason and, feeling praised, thought themselves superior, eventually looking down on neighbors.

This sickened everyone around them. These two once had so capability, but now utterly spoiled by Wen Shuangshuang, they couldn’t do any work, weren’t hireable, and still looked down on self-sufficient families. Who gave them the nerve, truly self-indulgent beyond asure.
