The sudden contact made Elara’s voice die completely. Her eyes went wide open as she stared at him.

Adrian snorted and moved his head close to the back of her ear, his warm breath sending shivers down her spine. "Hold it," he said in a commanding tone, his hand forcing her fingers to stay in place. "Just make yourself useful."

Elara’s jaw clenched. Not wanting to let him dominate her like this, she summoned every bit of her strength and wriggled her wrist fiercely, twisting her hips to wrench her hand out from under his hold.

But her hand did not move away cleanly. As she struggled to free herself, her palm suddenly dragged firmly against the rigid length of his lower body, mistakenly jerking him through the fabric.

Adrian’s entire body went stiff. A low groan tore from the back of his throat as his head dropped heavily into the crook of her neck. His fingers suddenly dug into her wrist with a bruising force, his breath coming out heavy against her skin.

Elara’s lips pursed as she stared at him. She finally managed to find her voice, forcing it to remain calm. "Let go. If you want a performance, find soone else to watch your display," she said.

Adrian took a slow breath and lifted his head. "A performance?" he murmured, a small mocking smile tugging at the corner of his lips as he stared at her face. "Are you scared now? I recall you being much braver than this."

Elara’s face flushed in embarrassnt.

Why was he just spurting nonsense all day?

She suddenly regretted coming here.

"That was different," she managed to protest though she found her words unreasonable the instant they left her mouth.

"It’s exactly the sa," Adrian interrupted smoothly, his hand slowly moving to her side to pinch her waist. He then looked up again, his silvery eyes locking with hers. "The only difference is that today, you’re pretending you don’t want this."

Elara stared back at him, her eyes narrowing dangerously. She hated how much control he seed to have over her. But looking down at the unmasked desire in his silvery eyes, a stubborn urge suddenly took over her.

If he wanted to play this ga, she wouldn’t play the victim.

"Fine," she muttered sharply. Not giving him the satisfaction of commanding her a second ti, her fingers suddenly reached out and caught the buckle of his belt. She undid it and then pulled the zipper down. Without any hesitation, she slid her bare palm past his waistband and wrapped it around him firmly.

The skin to skin contact made Adrian’s entire fra lock instantly. A suppressed hiss escaped his parted lips, his silvery eyes darkening into almost pitch black as his gaze slamd down to et hers.

Elara kept her chin tilted up not avoiding his gaze at all. "Satisfied?" she scoffed, her brow raising.

Instead of answering, Adrian simply stared at her, his throat moving up and down.

His gaze made Elara feel uncomfortable, but she didn’t look away. She wanted him to see that she was not afraid of him in any way. To prove it, keeping her eyes locked with his, Elara slowly slid her hand upward against him.

The movent seed to completely shatter what was left of Adrian’s restraint. His head snapped back, a low groan escaping his chest. His fingers which had been resting near her waist instantly dug into the desk behind her.

Elara watched him quietly. It amused her how soone like him was reduced to this, completely at the rcy of her hand. Encouraged by this, she moved her hand down, then slid it back up.

Adrian let out a breathless gasp, his head dropping forward as he looked down at her through a veil of dark hair that had fallen across his forehead.

"Elara," he growled, his voice vibrating against her lips. "You’re playing a dangerous ga."

Elara only gave a small smile. Not caring about his warning, her fingers tightened around him again, intending to give him another stroke. But before her hand could move an inch, his fingers suddenly wrapped tightly around her wrist and ripped her hand off his body.

Elara gasped as he slamd her wrist against the desk in a way that she wouldn’t be able to move it at all.

"I told you to stop," he murmured. "You’ve had your fun."

Before she could even open her mouth to protest, his free hand slid under her thighs. He pulled her up effortlessly and sat her right on the edge of his desk, sending several neat stacks of paper flying to the floor.

He moved between her open knees imdiately, his hands running along her waist to pull her tightly into his fra as his head dropped down to claim her lips.

* * * *

Adrian’s head finally landed on Elara’s chest, his breathing heavy. After a long ti, he sighed heavily against her and finally pulled away, his gaze expressionless as he stared at her.

He then took a paper tissue from the tissue box on the desk. He wiped the desk calmly and threw the paper into the trash can. He took another and wiped it again while Elara simply stared at him.

Once the desk was clean, he effortlessly scooped Elara up into his arms and headed straight to the door which led to the bathroom.

Elara’s heart clenched uncomfortably as they entered, a mory running through her head.

Adrian set her down onto the counter. He then walked away and went to the sink opposite her. He cleaned himself quickly and washed his hands. After that, he adjusted himself before turning his focus entirely to her.

He took a small white cloth and wet it with warm water. After squeezing it tightly, he walked up to Elara and stood in front of her parted knees.

Elara’s eyes calmly moved to the ceiling pretending to stare at it, though she was only trying to avoid his gaze.

What was there to be ashad of anymore anyway?

Adrian didn’t say anything. He simply lifted her leg a little to open her up, then he began to slowly wipe the inside of her thighs with the warm cloth.

Elara didn’t protest at all. She sat still, staring down at his dark hair while several thoughts ran through her mind.

Just as Adrian tossed the cloth into the sink and made a move to pull up her trousers, a small hesitant knock suddenly sounded from the outer office door.

"Boss," Harris’s voice ca through. "Mr. Vale is approaching this floor. Should I tell him to co in, or... should I tell him you are currently handling an important deal that needs all your attention."
