Su Muyao suddenly felt that many things had been clarified.

Many past doubts suddenly connected, allowing her to understand what was truly happening.

"There is also a Trial Ground beneath the Ice Wolf Clan’s altar, and the leader of the Ice Wolf Clan said that place leads to the ancestral origin of the Ice Wolf Clan."

"I’m not sure what kind of place that origin is."

The i Family Master thought for a mont, then speculated, "It could be that the Ice Wolf Clan did not originally live on that land, perhaps they lived on another land, possibly their earliest tribal settlent."

"If one is fixated on finding the earliest tribal environnt, it’s possible that sothing of great importance to the clan is hidden there."

Su Muyao nodded, which could indeed explain it.

Su Muyao communicated many things with the i Family Master and Mrs. i.

The i Family Master knew Su Muyao was curious about the Dragon Beastman, so he brought her and Wen Nanxi to the ancestral hall of the clan.

The i Family Ancestral Hall was a dedicated large courtyard.

Upon entering the courtyard, one could see a side room on the left. Looking through the door, they saw the wall inside decorated with Life Tokens of the i Family mbers.

There were also dedicated people guarding there.

The i Family Master said, "Those are the Life Tokens of the clan mbers. As long as there’s no issue, the Tokens will show as lit."

"Once a Token is made and blood is dripped on it, it can show whether the clan mber is alive and well."

The system sighed, "No wonder when i Qingchen went into exile with you back then, the i Family Master was not worried."

"At that ti, the i Family Master and Mrs. i were firm in their stance, making i Qingchen resolutely choose you."

"Looking at it now, the i Family not only had foresight but also deep foundations."

"No, to be precise, the i Family can predict so things in advance; they knew the host was strong."

Now Su Muyao had a new understanding of the i Family’s ability.

The i Family Master led Su Muyao and Wen Nanxi into the main house. There was a Barrier blocking it, and the i Family Master placed the Family Head Order against the door. The Barrier opened, and the door also opened automatically.

Inside was the i Family Ancestral Hall, a place for the i Family to honor their ancestors.

Upon entering, Su Muyao looked around at the walls but didn’t see any painting of the Dragon Beastman.

The i Family Master went inside and pressed a chanism button, and a hidden door suddenly appeared on the wall behind.

The i Family Master led them inside.

Upon entering, they discovered another room behind.

A table directly opposite also had an offering table.

Su Muyao looked again and still didn’t see any paintings.

The i Family Master said, "It’s kept inside the box at the very back."

"That painting is peculiar. Ordinary people cannot look directly at it, as it seems to have spiritual force, and an average Spirit Sea cannot withstand it."

"That’s why the painting is kept in the box."

"Mu Yao, if you want to see it, you can take it out to look."

Su Muyao nodded and slowly stepped forward.

When her fingertip barely touched the purple sandalwood painting box on the table, a refreshing yet fiery aura spread along her fingertip.

Her fingers trembled slightly.

This painting might indeed be strange.

But curiosity drove Su Muyao to continue her exploration.

She opened the box and took out the scroll inside, then slowly unfolded it.

As she gently unrolled the scroll, the incense burning in the room seed to be stirred by a breeze.

Even though it was dayti, the room was sealed off, with sunlight unable to penetrate, and only the candlelight inside.

The halo from the candlelight fell on the silk, and it seed to draw away so of the warmth from the painting.

The painting lacked a complex background, simply using varying shades of ink to highlight the man’s silhouette.

He wore a black brocade robe, with so patterns embroidered on its hem, which upon closer inspection seed not to be ordinary designs but ones carrying the auspiciousness of a rainbow. As the eyes moved, those patterns seed to gently flow across the scroll.

His stance was as upright as a solitary pine on a peak, yet accompanied by a certain nonchalant laziness.

His left shoulder slightly dipped, with his right hand casually resting on the ink Jade Pendant hanging from his waist. His black hair was simply tied up, with a few strands of dark hair cascading down beside his neck, the tips seemingly wet with dew, reflecting a cold sheen under the candlelight.

Even though it was just a silhouette, in a trance, Su Muyao felt the hidden chilling allure of this man through the painting.

It wasn’t just superficial aloofness, but a tension buried deep in his bones and blood.

It seed as if any mont, he would turn slightly, the ends of his eyes lifting to look over, his gaze carrying a bewitching smile capable of capturing one’s soul.

Yet this captivating charm was laced with mystery, as every detail of the black-clothed man in the painting and the black hair cascading down his back was just right, rendering his true face obscured behind the silhouette, seemingly shrouded in a dense fog that could never be dispersed.

As Su Muyao was engrossed in looking, a dragon’s roar suddenly echoed in her ears.

This was the first ti Su Muyao heard this sound, yet she weirdly felt it was indeed a dragon’s roar.

Clearly, there was a tiless distance, yet it reverberated right by her ear.

Su Muyao’s heart trembled, wanting to co back to her senses, but her conscience seed captivated by the dragon’s roar.

The dragon’s roar was not a violent howl but a dignified chant, causing her chest to tremble slightly.

Su Muyao’s lashes quivered intensely. Although she was looking at the painting, her vision beca disoriented.

This ti, in her confusion, she saw a strange influence. Obviously, the scroll with no silhouette now had clouds.

Soon after, it seed as if Su Muyao’s consciousness entered the scroll.

Then she saw a gigantic silhouette stretching on the clouds in the sky.

Focusing her eyes, she faintly discerned what it was.

It turned out to be the legendary dragon’s shadow, and it was a Black Dragon.

Its scales shimred with a black luster amidst the clouds, its horns forged like cold iron, sharp and robust, its Dragon Body entwined with roiling clouds, its four claws stepping on scattered flashes of lightning.

Enshrouded by mist, it did not fully reveal its form, but when the dragon body moved and its neck erged from the clouds, its eyes were revealed.

Those dragon eyes were stunning as a painting yet carried a commanding aloofness capable of entrancing souls.

Witnessing this scene, Su Muyao’s heart and mind were profoundly shaken.

Though it should have been an illusory vision, at this mont, it instilled a suffocating feeling in her.

The Black Dragon’s aura carried imnse majesty, not deliberately exuded but Innate.

At this mont, it seed as though Su Muyao’s entire consciousness was captivated.

"Dragon... you’re a Dragon Beastman..."

Su Muyao tried to speak, but felt as though her whole being was uncontrollably drawn to him, her breath caught, and she didn’t know what to say.

The mont the dragon shadow in the clouds lowered its head, it seed to have spotted Su Muyao below.

Its pupils instantly beca vertical, appearing to reveal the glistening starry sky, and its commanding aura seed to retract briefly.

In the clouds, its gigantic form gradually shrank.

Swiftly, it leaped down from the sky to the ground, transforming into a human form.

Just like the black-clothed man in the painting, his black hair cascaded down his back like a smooth waterfall, stirring wind and clouds as he moved.

His form was aloof, captivating, yet enigmatic.

The wind lifted his black robe sleeves, flapping noisily, catching the light as if sparkling with an indescribably imposing black radiance.

Even though he held his aura inwardly at the mont, without external release, one could still feel his natural imposing presence.
