The young mistress saw the Sect Master in the corridor, what was so strange about that? Could the Great Elder be intending to complain to the Sect Master that the young mistress had seen him but had not co forward to greet him?
“Great Elder, this…”
This was sending him, a re disciple, to face the Sect Master’s scolding. This was a difficult task indeed.
“Go if you’re told to go. The Sect Master knows what to do,” the Great Elder glanced at him and, having spoken, left.
