Chapter 2003: Chapter 2003: Need to Find an Excuse to Slip Away
She had never seen such a stubborn disciple; this was her mother’s room, after all. What was the harm in her entering for a mont? Why was entry forbidden?
“You lot, hurry up and pull him away. What are you standing there for?” She turned her head and ordered the other disciples.
“This…”
The other disciples looked at one another but made no move.
They hadn’t actually heard what the nanny had instructed Nineteenth, but Nineteenth was honest and wouldn’t lie to anyone.
“Miss, why don’t you wait for Madam to return before entering the room? Nineteenth is just following Madam’s orders. Please be magnanimous and don’t make things difficult for Nineteenth, a lowly disciple.”
One of the disciples spoke up on behalf of Nineteenth.
The nanny wouldn’t instruct Nineteenth to guard Madam’s room, barring entry to Miss, without good reason.
If they rashly allowed Miss to enter and sothing went missing from Madam’s room, it would be their fault as disciples. Not only would Nineteenth be punished, but they would also surely face reprimand.

Leng Yiyu was nearly driven mad by anger.

Hearing that Sect Master Leng was seeking her, Leng Yiyu’s body involuntarily shuddered.
She secretly wondered, did her father find out what she was planning? Or had he already discovered that Madam’s trip to the Stone Chamber to et him was her doing?
“Yes, the Sect Master has matters to discuss with you. Please, co with ,” said the Second Elder, nodding.
“Second Elder, what does Father want to discuss with ?” Leng Yiyu cautiously inquired.
If this was about Leng Yikun’s matter, she would need to slip away and hide for a few days until her father’s anger subsided, and then return.
“I wouldn’t know that. The Sect Master’s thoughts are not sothing that an Elder like can speculate on.” The Second Elder shook his head, indicating he knew nothing.
“You don’t know, how can you possibly not… Uh.”
Leng Yiyu wanted to say how could the Second Elder possibly be unaware, since he was always at the Sect Master’s side handling affairs. But as she was about to speak, she felt it was inappropriate to ask and held back.
“Then, Second Elder, what is Father’s mood like right now? Is there anything he is unhappy about?”
She found it strange that even though her mother had gone to find her father, how could her father still have ti to seek her out?
“The Sect Master is in a good mood,” replied the Second Elder.
This pronouncent wasn’t made lightly; with the prospect of sending this troublemaker away, not just the Sect Master, but even he himself was in excellent spirits.
