Chapter 2215: Chapter 2215: Not a Chili, but a Lemon

“Alright, once Mama hugs you, it won’t hurt anymore.”

What else could An Jiuyue do? She could only coax him.

But they couldn’t keep going like this. The little baby wouldn’t always stay in the space with Qian Jiyun. She had to co up with a better solution.

“Got it.”

Suddenly, her eyes lit up.

“What’s the matter, Master?” Wei Na asked her.

“Let’s cultivate two more plots of land and grow fruits and vegetables that can be eaten fresh. As for the location, let’s place them right in front of the courtyard gate.”

By planting fruits and vegetables in front of the courtyard gate, the little baby could see them as soon as he stepped out. That way, he wouldn’t have to walk to so other place to pick sothing to fill his belly.

Once she had the idea, she imdiately put it into action. An Jiuyue exchanged for two plots of land in the Points Mall and placed them right in front of the courtyard.

As for what fruits and vegetables to grow, she had already decided — strawberries, grapes, blueberries, and the like, along with so cherry tomatoes and cherries. This way, the little baby could pick whatever he wanted to eat.

“Crying again, is he?”

Outside, An Jiuyue brought the little baby out, and Qian Jiyun imdiately noticed his red-rimd eyes.

“What did he eat this ti to make himself look like this?” he asked.

“This ti, it wasn’t chili peppers, it was a lemon.”

An Jiuyue’s lips curved slightly as she replied, then she saw the little baby pouting and wrapping his arms even tighter around her neck, looking utterly wronged.

He had already eaten sothing awful, and now Mama was teasing him!

Qian Jiyun could only shake his head. He thought his son really was a little foodie.

“Son, are you planning to taste everything under the sun?” He scooped the little baby into his arms and asked with so exasperation.

“Hmph!”

The little baby scrunched up his tiny nose and let out a soft snort, clearly upset.

“Bad Dad, stop laughing!”

He had caught it — not just Mama, but even his dad’s lips were twitching upwards. They were both laughing at him.

“Alright, Daddy’s not laughing anymore. Co, take a look at what Daddy has in his hand.”

“Treasure!”

The mont the little baby saw what his dad was holding, his eyes instantly lit up.

He saw it—his dad was holding a little golden box in his hand, sparkling and oh-so-beautiful.

It reminded him of the big treasure box he had seen before, the one filled with so many treasures. Could this box also hold lots of treasures?

The little baby stretched out his tiny arms and snatched the little golden box from his dad’s hands. Using both hands, he started pulling and twisting at the box, trying to open it.

“What are you doing?”

Qian Jiyun looked at the little baby huffing and puffing as he fiddled with the little golden box, and asked.

But the little baby was too absorbed in his battle with the box to even acknowledge his dad’s question. He kept pulling and twisting with all his might.

“What’s he doing?”

Getting no response, he raised his head to look at An Jiuyue.

“He’s trying to open the box to search for treasure,” An Jiuyue answered his question.

Qian Jiyun: “…”

This was just a pretty trinket. Could it even be opened? And more importantly, did he actually think there was treasure inside?

Honestly, he had no idea what kind of thoughts were swirling around in his little baby’s mind. Did he really believe he could pry open a little golden box?

Still, the ntion of treasure hunting did spark an idea in Qian Jiyun’s mind.

“Treasure hunting, huh? That’s not a bad idea.”

What had originally been a plan to craft a few small toys for his son had now taken a different turn in his head.

“Jiuyue, didn’t you ntion wanting to prepare so dicinal pills for Nuonuo the other day? I’ll craft a few more little golden boxes, ones that can actually be opened, and we’ll store the dicinal pills inside. What do you think?”
