The Emperor, coming out of the Regency Hall, returned to the imperial study room and saw Minister Gong waiting outside.

Gong Jian turned to look at him and knelt down.
The young eunuch outside the imperial study room had told him the Emperor wasn’t inside, but he couldn’t believe it; turns out it was true.
But why did the Emperor walk back to the imperial study room, where had he been?

"In response to Your Majesty, matters in the Southern Lands have been settled; regarding Imperial Censor Feng’s land-grabbing case, the entire Feng Family has admitted guilt and has been imprisoned, along with all other officials headed by Imperial Censor Feng, whose families have all been thrown into prison as well, awaiting Your Majesty’s judgnt."
Gong Jian replied.
