Qian Yizheng had little Nuonuo tucked under his arm and was caught red-handed by the returning Qian Jiyun and his wife.
Why are these two kids walking like this? It doesn’t seem like anything good is happening. Has the little baby caused trouble again? Otherwise, why would his big brother carry him like that?
"Wow, eldest brother, you’re such a jinx. Dad and mom really ca back." Little Nuonuo was startled upon hearing his mother’s voice.
He thought his eldest brother was just stopping him from cooking by reminding him about his unfinished howork and scaring him with their parents.
Unexpectedly, as soon as they stepped out of the cooking tent, he heard his mother’s voice. Oh no, his howork really isn’t done. What should he do? Will he be punished by his dad?
He wasn’t sure what the punishnt would be, but he hoped it wouldn’t an more howork!

He really just wanted a reason to stop little Nuonuo from cooking, but he didn’t expect their parents to actually co back.
"Dad, Mom, you’re back! Have you taken care of everything outside?"
He set little Nuonuo down on his feet and smiled as he turned to look at the two of them.
"Almost everything is done, just need to wrap up a few things."
An Jiuyue replied, most of the issues had been dealt with, and as for the traitors in the other camps, they could handle those themselves. It had nothing to do with her.
If internal problems arise, they couldn’t bla them, could they?
"What’s going on with you two?"
"Nothing much, Nuonuo wanted to cook a few dishes, and I suddenly rembered Nuonuo’s howork wasn’t finished, so I’m taking him back to do it first." Qian Yizheng explained.
Little Nuonuo: "!"
Eldest brother, how could you sell out your cutest little brother so quickly?
Now that their parents knew he hadn’t done his howork, they would definitely punish him and maybe even give him lots more howork!
But, he might be overthinking it. To the Qian Jiyun couple, as long as the little baby wasn’t poisoning people with his cooking, everything else was fine.
"Then hurry up, Nuonuo, and learn well from your brother Zheng’er. Make sure to do your howork carefully." An Jiuyue instructed her youngest son.
She’s not really worried about howork, after all, the child is still young. It’s not like she expects him to be scholarly or skilled in martial arts just yet. They’d take it slow, and she knows her own son well enough that recognizing characters is enough for now.
"Okay, mom, Nuonuo will go do howork with eldest brother now." The little baby felt a huge sense of relief when his mom didn’t make a fuss about it.
