"I understand, from now on... I won’t do it again!"
She seed resolute, deciding that she would no longer focus only on Second Senior Brother. She would safeguard her own things by herself, and others could dream on about taking them.
As for Second Senior Brother, since he already had soone he liked, she wouldn’t pester him anymore. She would just consider that she had been blind all these years.
Now that her eyes had been cured, it was no longer a problem.
"Ninth Senior Brother, since Second Senior Brother has gone hunting, we might not have a share. Why don’t I go hunt so myself?" she suggested.
With their Little Junior Sister’s temperant, the best parts of the prey would always go to her. Even if the parts were not good, she’d rather discard them than share with others.
In these days, she had co to fully understand that every ti they ate so of the prey Second Senior Brother caught, Little Junior Sister felt like they were taking advantage of her.
"That sounds good."
Ninth Senior Brother didn’t hesitate, nodding imdiately.
He didn’t want to tolerate Little Junior Sister’s temper anymore; it was best for him to keep his distance from her in the future.
"Let go instead. You guys wait here, I’ll be back soon."
As their senior brother, it wasn’t right to let the junior sisters go hunting, so he decided to go himself.
"Then I’ll go with Ninth Senior Brother."
Senior Sister Jun thought for a mont, nodded, and the two of them stood up, preparing to go hunting.
By this ti, the sky was getting dark. They would search for prey nearby, and after handling everything, it would be nightti when they returned, so going together would be quicker.
Just as the two of them were leaving, Second Senior Brother returned. Seeing them about to leave, he casually asked.
"Where are you going?"
The forest was quite dangerous, especially at this ti when it was almost dark; it was better for them to stay together.
"We’re going to hunt so prey, Second Senior Brother," Ninth Senior Brother replied.
Upon hearing this, Second Senior Brother glanced at the few prey in his hand. They were all small animals that Little Junior Sister liked to eat. Though there were several, they weren’t very big.
If the whole group were to eat only these, it certainly wouldn’t be enough, yet these small animals were particularly cunning and difficult to catch.
Once he caught them, thinking he couldn’t let Little Junior Sister go hungry, he hurried back.
Was Ninth Junior Brother and Junior Sister Jun complaining about him?
"I didn’t think things through as a senior brother. After I handle these prey, I’ll catch so more. Little Jun doesn’t need to go," he said, sowhat guilty.
But even if he felt a bit guilty, deep down he didn’t think there was anything wrong with his actions. Little Junior Sister was still young; she shouldn’t go hungry and should be fed first.
Besides, as a senior brother, wasn’t it his duty to take more care of Little Junior Sister?
If Little Jun felt uncomfortable about this, then she was sowhat too sensitive. After all, they were all fellow sect mbers, and as a senior sister, Little Jun should also look after Little Junior Sister more, right?
"Little Jun, what would you like to eat? Senior Brother will hunt it for you later."
"No need, Second Senior Brother."
Senior Sister Jun shook her head, refusing Second Senior Brother.
Since she had already decided to give up, it was best to keep their relationship solely as fellow sect mbers, without any further entanglents.
"Ninth Senior Brother and I can hunt ourselves. You should take care of Little Junior Sister, as she’s probably hungry," she said, glancing at Ninth Senior Brother.
Understanding, Ninth Senior Brother smiled at Second Senior Brother and walked away with Senior Sister Jun.
