The previously raging attacks by the demonic beasts suddenly halted, with them roaring in place, no longer attacking the Beastn. By human perception, the demonic beasts must be sowhat bewildered right now.
Initially pressured to attack Fan City due to bloodline suppression, without it now, they’re montarily unsure of their location.
Despite being demonic beasts, many had developed so intelligence, as entities cultivated long in the forest, why would they attack Beastn territory?
Protecting their small patch of land should suffice.
Yet here they were beneath the Beastn’s walls, surely dazed.
After roaring for quite a while finally becoming clear-headed, ignoring Beastn’s shocked gazes, they turned and ran, joking aside, the foul stench nearby undoubtedly emanated from decomposing beast corpses.
So many demonic beasts had died, if they remained, would they end up like those beasts, rotting on the ground?
Thus, they swiftly ran, taking advantage of the Beastn’s delayed reaction.
The Beastn witnessing had no ti to react.
The demonic beasts fiercely biting them monts ago were now all fleeing; what was going on, they were even more bewildered than the beasts.
"City Lord, have all the demonic beasts retreated?"
Atop the city wall, a soldier observing the fleeing beasts turned and asked their City Lord.
They were ready to fight to the death, for if this continued, Fan City’s troops were inadequate, and the City Lord had already dispatched people to seek reinforcents, but long-awaited responses were lacking.
Just when they were feeling disheartened, unexpectedly, those demonic beasts retreated.
The City Lord’s gaze fixated on the departing beasts, his brow finally relaxed, it seed even the heavens didn’t wish to sever Fan City’s future path.
