Can a tree grow big if it’s planted in a cave and never sees sunlight? Just look at this tree before us, it’s already quite impressive that it’s grown this much.

The idea of restricting a tree’s cultivation is laughable. He’s seen plenty of Wood-type Magical Beasts, but a tree, a real tree, could it possibly gain intelligence?

"Besides the tree, it seems there are only those bookshelves in this cave? Could it really be that those Cold Iron walls outside are for this tree?"

Whatever the reason for the tree’s presence, they’ve found what they were looking for.

The mountain is high enough that if they set a fire, no one would notice it, as it’s covered by the mist.

Min Yi rubbed his hands together and was about to start moving the books.
But as soon as he made a move, the seemingly small tree surprisingly started to rustle, producing a ’swoosh’ sound of leaves rubbing together.
"Wait."
Qian Yirong pulled him back.
Everyone’s eyes turned to the Little Tree.
"Did you hear it? It moved, didn’t it?" he asked the others.
"I heard it, I heard it."
Little Nuonuo nodded his head vigorously, then looked around the area.
"It’s not windy here, so how did it move?"
This is a cave, there’s no wind blowing in from any direction, and earlier, he didn’t feel any air movent.
What’s going on with this tree? Why did it suddenly move? Could it be...
"It won’t let us move those books, will it?"
The idea alone is laughable, how could a tree understand so much? He’s never co across anything like this in all the planes he’s visited.
Yet upon second thought, not having encountered it doesn’t an it’s impossible. What else could that long stretch of Cold Iron wall be for if not for this tree?
The cave is large, but aside from these bookshelves, it’s easy to see the end at a glance.
Could it be that there’s a hidden passage inside this cave?
