Vritra found himself trapped in a tight yet soft embrace of the woman he knew too little about.
But someone who had been present in his life since the beginning.
"Evelyn?" He called out, his body frozen against the warmth of the blonde hugging him.
"Yes!" Evelyn felt butterflies in her belly just by hearing him say her name, feeling the love in his voice. "Your Evelyn!"
"Mhmm" she snuggled closer, rubbing her face gently against him.
"Wait, let's talk but first, can you let go?" Vritra asked, feeling helpless.
"We can talk just fine like this, and yea I came to deal with those dark creatures. They eat planets and all life forms, but in the dark galaxy, they are like weeds." Evelyn spoke without letting go.
She never wanted to let go.
'I came here only for you, so stop struggling and just give yourself to me…' she thought, feeling her heart thumping quickly, getting all possessive.
Her eyes glowed, but then she smelled something.
"Blood?" pulling her head back a bit she smelled the scent of blood over his body, which was from the battle against Zihong.
Evelyn's heart clenched, her expression changing suddenly as a killing intent covered the whole space.
The killing intent was so thick that even Vritra was shocked, the light space and the dark space outside, all turned blood red.
Strange cries began to ring out, just the thought that someone had hurt him made her so angry.
This wasn't the first time though, she had been watching over Vritra from the beginning and every time he got hurt.
She was filled with worry and rage, especially in that war where he died again.
She just held back for Vritra's sake, Evelyn thought she could still hold on. But now being here, and remembering the scene of Vritra getting injured.
Her killing intent exploded.
"Wait-" Vritra tried to hold her but her body moved way too quickly, the white space exploded.
He remained pletely safe at the centre, Evelyn's body seemed to be burning with dense mana, destroying the space even further.
The damage she was causing was at least more than five times what Vritra did, and it was just her aura.
'She is strong!' Vritra could tell that she hadn't pletely let go yet or the scene would be far more terrifying.
This was the true strength of a higher being, Vritra wondered how long it would take for him to reach that level.
"Ah" Zihong suddenly returned to his senses, his body no longer frozen.
He was still afraid of those dark creatures, but what he saw next frightened him to the degree that he almost peed.
All his schemes and games were nothing in front of such absolute power.
He had never seen her before but could tell it was at least a god or someone even stronger.
'No, I have seen a god and even they aren't this oppressive, but why is her killing intent focused on me?'
His body felt like exploding, pain began to seep out from all sides, as he fell limply.
"How dare you hurt my husband!!" reality seemed to be distorting as she raised her hand, then brought it down at Zihong's head, destroying all world laws, space and time.
"I- f- f- forgive meeeeee" Zihong screamed in panic, unsure of what made her so angry.
But it was too late.
BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOM!!
An explosion that destroyed everything around thousands of kilometres swept all over, even killing a large number of those dark creatures and pushing back those giant tentacles.
The poor space was even further destroyed, pletely opening this universe to the dark galaxy.
The dark galaxy was the place where even the Crooked were thrown, that place is filled with the most dangerous creatures who can bring destruction.
Frowning, Vritra used Null to make everything stop, and Evelyn didn't interrupt, finally calming a bit as Zihong got erased from existence.
Using the enormous amount of mana in his body, Vritra reversed everything caused by Evelyn, he knew it would get too troublesome.
Seeing Vritra doing that, Evelyn was happy, as she expected he still loves her.
Should she just marry him in secret and use some trick to fool her family and just settle down with him?
She was lost in a dreamy world as Vritra reversed everything.
Evelyn returned to her senses after a moment and quickly helped Vritra, but Zihong was revived again.
She could kill him but again, others might get alerted.
"Haa Haa" Vritra panted lightly, wiping the sweat from his forehead, that was way too taxing.
"Are you really here to solve that?!" Vritra asked, looking at Evelyn.
This woman was a whole box of new troubles, her strength is undeniable but she gets angry too easily.
Evelyn pouted, murmuring to herself: "Wouldn't you do the same if any of your wives were injured, why am I the one getting scolded?"
"Hmm Did you say something?" Vritra narrowed his eyes, looking at her as if she is a problem child who had just made a big blunder.
"Uh N- No I didn't." Evelyn shook her head quickly, looking away from him, suddenly finding counting those creatures interesting.
Evelyn secretly glared at Zihong, he was totally to blame.
If her father were to see the current her his body would go into paralysis, since she was young, he hadn't seen her like that.
In fact he was the one who felt a bit afraid of her, when she got angry she would turn the entire Vespera family upside down.
And now here she was, acting cute like a child getting scolded.
Vritra calmed down a bit, he could tell why she got angry.
"It's alright, I can deal with Zihong." Vritra said, then asked: "Won't you be in trouble for doing all that?"
Evelyn didn't answer instead her red lips stretched into a smile, as she asked: "Are you worried about me?"
"No" Vritra shook his head and glanced up at the broken space.
Evelyn giggled, it seemed her husband has a tsundere side to him, in that dream he was pretty direct.
She too looked at the creatures of darkness and decided to deal with them, it wouldn't be good to keep the space like that for long.
There are many dangerous creatures there, many powerful races, if even one of the top figures managed to cross over.
Things would bee too plicated.
So pausing her reconciliation with Vritra for a bit, she began to repair the space, pushing back those countless creatures.
Vritra watched Evelyn focus with a serious look and was lost in her beauty for a moment.
Her appearance was almost equally beautiful to Teresa, and the seriousness and air of superiority present around her naturally, made her look even more charming.
Vritra really might have pursued her if they had met early, but now he didn't really want to add another woman to his life.
Though fate did have other plans.
"My love, I am almost done, so just wait a few more moments." Evelyn said as she glanced back at Vritra, even the fact that he was looking at her made her feel euphoric.
She is the only one in his eyes right now, what could be better than that.
"Huh? Love? How did you know I was ing here?" just then a surprised voice sounded as another person appeared.
