Knowing that Alice Turner and Thomas Fisher had already made plans, Lily Turner didn’t continue to chat with her sister. She imdiately left her sister’s room and returned to her own room.
Lily Turner had just entered her room for a mont when she heard Alice Turner closing the door and leaving. After her sister left ho for more than half an hour, she also pulled Easton Hols out of her room, ready to go ho.
Soone who had been saying she wanted to stay at her parent’s house was now pulling him to leave, and Lily Turner’s inconsistent attitude made Easton Hols feel very puzzled. However, he didn’t say anything; her wanting to go back made him very happy.
After saying goodbye to Christopher Turner and Sophia Wood, the two left the Turner family ho. After leaving, they didn’t imdiately return to the courtyard but drove to a restaurant instead.
They had eaten quite a bit of at and fish for lunch, so for dinner, they opted for sothing simpler and lighter. They casually ordered two vegetarian dishes and a serving of corn soup, along with a pancake, to make it a al.
Although it was a simple al, the two enjoyed it imnsely and ate with great happiness.
"How’s the food here?"
Halfway through the al, Easton Hols suddenly tilted his head and asked.
Lily Turner was drinking corn soup when she heard the man beside her ask her. She looked up at him, "Hmm! The corn soup is the best."
If it was before, she definitely wouldn’t drink sweet corn soup, but now she didn’t hold back as much; she could eat whatever she wanted.
Ever since Lily Turner decided to leave the entertainnt industry, she started eating all kinds of sweets she loved. However, she wasn’t eating uncontrollably; she still had so restraint.
She couldn’t let herself beco overweight; that wouldn’t be good for the baby in her belly or herself.
"Drink more if it’s good; this whole bowl is yours." Easton Hols placed the whole bowl of corn soup in front of Lily Turner, letting her drink freely.
Seeing this, she was both amused and annoyed, "Mr. Hols! Your wife doesn’t have such a big appetite."
No matter how much she liked it, she couldn’t drink such a big bowl; she pushed the large bowl of corn soup he placed in front of her aside, looking at it made her stomach hurt.
"If you eat more, your stomach will grow."
"You eat more yourself; I don’t want to be a big eater."
Easton Hols’ words earned Lily Turner a roll of the eyes; after giving him a side-eye, she lowered her head and continued eating, no longer paying attention to his distractions.
Seeing her eat so sweetly, he didn’t say anything further and quietly accompanied her to eat.
After drinking two small bowls of corn soup, Lily Turner put down her chopsticks first. Seeing her stop eating, Easton Hols tilted his head and looked, "Are you full?"
He glanced at the pancake; she had barely touched it.
"Hmm."
Lily Turner followed Easton Hols’ gaze to the pancake and, before he could urge her to eat, she proactively refused, "Don’t persuade to eat anymore; I’m really full."
Having eaten so much at noon and spent the afternoon at ho, she didn’t feel hungry at all.
"Then let’s go back."
Easton Hols put down his chopsticks and stood up from his seat.
"You’re not eating anymore?"
"I’m full too, let’s go."
Easton Hols reached out to pull Lily Turner up and led her out of the private room.
As they walked out, Lily Turner saw two familiar figures. When she looked closely, she was so shocked her jaw nearly dropped.
Easton Hols noticed her reaction and followed her gaze. Instantly, the silhouettes of Thomas Fisher and Alice Turner ca into view.
