Benjamin Shaw seed not to hear Alice Turner’s words. He bypassed the desk and sat in his exclusive chair. Seeing his indifferent attitude, she beca even angrier.
She walked up to his desk, reached out, picked up a phone on the table, and imdiately threw it towards him, sitting behind the desk.
Bang!
At the mont Alice grabbed the phone, Benjamin realized what she was about to do. As she hurled it, he dodged to the side, and the phone hit the ground beside him.
"Alice Turner! If you want to go crazy, do it at ho, don’t make a scene here." Benjamin glared at Alice standing in front of the desk, looking furious.
Alice was too angry to care about her image now. She stared fiercely at Benjamin behind the desk, "If you don’t want to make a scene here, then co with to get the divorce papers done, or I will smash everything here."
As she spoke, she picked up another phone on the desk. This ti, she did not throw it out but held it high.
"Don’t smash it, or I will really not be polite." Seeing Alice lift the phone high, Benjamin stood up from his seat, ready to dodge her phone attack.
But he misjudged. From the start, she didn’t plan to throw it at him. Staring at him angrily, she smashed the phone on the floor, "I’m smashing it!"
She smashed it without hesitation, without fear, and without reservation.
"Will you co with to get the divorce papers done?" Alice asked as she reached out for the pen holder on the desk, lifting it above her head again.
Hearing her threatening question, Benjamin also got angry imdiately, raising his hand to point at her, "Alice Turner! Put that down."
This woman was really crazy today, crazy!
"I also want to put it down, but your attitude determines how I do it." Alice t Benjamin’s gaze, showing no weakness, ready to dispose of the pen holder based on his response as soon as he spoke.
Benjamin saw the anger in Alice’s eyes and her determination to stand her ground against him. It was the first ti he had seen her like this; she was really opening his eyes today.
Seeing her like this, he suddenly cald down, lowered the hand pointing at her, supported himself on the desk, and leaned toward her, "I will go with you to get the divorce papers done, but you must agree to one condition."
He stared at her without blinking, watching for her reaction.
"Speak!"
Seeing that the man had relented, Alice lowered her raised hand slightly but did not entirely put it down. She still clutched the pen holder tightly, ready to fight at any mont.
Benjamin looked at her, a sneer forming on his lips, "Stay away from Thomas, go as far as you can."
He didn’t know that they had already fallen in love. In his mind, she was an indiscreet woman who had actively seduced his good friend.
Hearing Benjamin say this, Alice’s face suddenly darkened, but then thinking of sothing, she instantly regained her composure, "Fine! I agree. Now let’s go."
As soon as the words left her mouth, she lowered her raised hand and simultaneously put the item back in its place. She was eager, shouting to leave here and head to the Civil Affairs Bureau to complete the paperwork.
