Having returned to being single, Alice Turner couldn’t hide her happiness and excitent. She quickly took out her phone and imdiately dialed Thomas Fisher’s number.
"Sorry! The number you dialed is temporarily unavailable. Please try again later."
In the end, all she heard was the prompt that no one was answering.

Thinking that Thomas was likely in a eting, Alice didn’t call again. She stared at the phone, sighed, and then called Lily Turner.
"Hello! Who’s this?" After a few rings, Auntie Li answered the phone.
Alice replied politely, "Hello, Auntie! This is Alice. Is Lily ho? Could you ask her to pick up the phone?"
Sigh! It’s really inconvenient not being able to reach soone by mobile.
"She’s in the bathroom, please wait a mont, I’ll go get her for you." Recognizing it was Alice, Auntie Li imdiately put the handset aside and went to the bathroom to call Lily.
At the mont, Lily was in the bathroom completely unaware of what was happening outside.

"Lily! Your sister is calling you."

Thinking that Alice might have sothing urgent, Lily quickly wrapped up her business and imdiately left the bathroom to answer the phone.
"Hey! Sis!"
Because she ca over a bit hurriedly, Lily’s breathing started to beco uneven.
Alice heard her panting over the phone, "Did you run over here?"
This girl! Doesn’t she know she’s pregnant? Why was she in such a rush?
"No, I just walked a bit faster than usual." Lily had indeed wanted to run, but when she saw her slightly protruding belly, she instantly gave up that idea.

Alice didn’t imdiately answer Lily’s question but instead lowered her voice and asked, "Is there anyone else around you right now?"
Although divorce was a good thing for her, it wasn’t sothing she wanted to make too public, especially since she’d just received her Divorce Certificate.
Instinctively, Lily turned to look around her. Despite her confusion, she still replied to her sister, "No one else is here, I’m alone in the living room now."
What on earth does her sister want to tell her? Why so cautious? Her heart suddenly beca anxious.
"I’m divorced!"
Once Alice confird that no one else was around, she felt relieved enough to share what she wanted to say.
"Sis! What, what did you say?! You’re divorced?" Lily was a bit surprised, sowhat excited, and a bit thrilled.
