"I knew you had sothing going on with this man!"
The person who walked over was none other than Luke Crowe, who had been handling things on behalf of Easton Hols. Jenny York recognized him imdiately and couldn’t help but mock him.
Upon hearing this, Lily Turner withdrew her gaze from outside the car window and turned to Jenny York beside her, "You’re right, he and I have the most intimate relationship, and he’s already proposed to , just a few days before Henry Thompson and I were about to have our wedding."
Not giving Jenny York a chance to speak, Lily Turner continued, "Thank you both for your deliberate arrangent that day, which helped finally make up my mind, make up my mind to leave Henry Thompson and marry him."
The "him" she ntioned was not Luke Crowe, but Easton Hols standing behind Luke Crowe.
"Lily Turner! You really are just like Henry said, an absolute shaless actress." Instead of angering the other party, Jenny York was the one who got infuriated and felt both unwilling and resentful.
Once again being cursed as a shaless actress, Lily Turner was very angry, but she didn’t respond with fury. Instead, she shook her head sympathetically at Jenny York, "Jenny York! I truly feel sorry for you. Haven’t you figured it out yet? The only reason Henry Thompson says that is because he got jealous seeing with another man."
Lily Turner said this only out of spite, but Jenny York took it completely seriously, though her words remained strong, "Lily Turner! Stop being delusional. The person Henry loves has always been ."
She spoke with certainty, but in her heart, she began to doubt.
Was he really just angry and jealous when he said those things? Could he actually still love this woman?
"It’s not like I’m lacking n chasing after , do I need to be delusional?" Lily Turner delivered a sharp blow.
The blow struck right into Jenny York’s heart, and it took her a long ti to recover from it.
Seeing this, Lily Turner knew she’d done enough to provoke her. She didn’t continue to stab at Jenny York but turned her head to look outside the car window.
At this mont, Luke Crowe was talking with Freya Yeager and a director about sothing, and no sooner had she seen Robert Xander walk over and join their conversation.
That man shouldn’t co, right?
Lily Turner turned to look at the direction Robert Xander had just co from and didn’t see that familiar tall figure.
Yet she didn’t imdiately withdraw her gaze. Instead, she carefully and seriously surveyed the surroundings. Only after confirming that there was no sight of that man did she feel relieved and retracted her gaze.
At this ti, Jenny York also snapped out of the earlier incident. She turned her head and saw the four people standing outside the car not far away talking.
After watching for a while, she withdrew her gaze and turned to Lily Turner. "Since you two are planning to get married, why are you still afraid of those reporters reporting on you?"
Jenny York didn’t doubt Lily Turner’s earlier words in the slightest. The only thing she couldn’t figure out now was this.
Hearing Jenny York’s question, Lily Turner’s heart skipped a beat, but outwardly she showed no change.
Retracting her gaze from outside the car window, Lily Turner turned her head to look at Jenny York. After staring at Jenny York for a while, she spoke calmly, "The wedding is sothing between the two of us; we don’t want to be disturbed by those reporters."
