Christopher Turner’s anger was actually understood by Lily Turner and Alice Turner, but Lily still asked Sophia Wood again, she just wanted to know if it had eased compared to before.
"Your dad is very angry right now, be careful when you both go in later." Sophia looked at the two sisters with concern, deliberately reminding them.
"I will."
Alice responded, taking the lead to walk toward the door, no matter what awaited her, she had to face it bravely, without any retreat.
Seeing this, Sophia and Lily quickly followed suit, and as they caught up, Sophia imdiately made her stance clear, "Mom will stand by your side."
After having a heartfelt conversation with Alice, she learned about Alice’s hardships and unhappiness, and for her elder daughter to live happily and blissfully like her younger daughter, she decided to step in and help.
"I will too."
Even though Lily had expressed her support during dinner, she reaffird her stance to Alice upon hearing Sophia’s declaration.
"Thank you both!"
Alice turned her head to glance at Lily and Sophia, and walked resolutely into the house.
Sophia and Lily followed closely behind her, and as soon as they entered, Christopher’s angry shout erupted from the living room’s direction, "Alice Turner! Did your brain get jamd by the door?"
Hearing the commotion by the door, Christopher imdiately stepped out of the living room, and the mont he reached the living room door, he spotted Alice walking in front.
The instant he saw her, the anger he had been holding back erupted imdiately.
"Christopher! Speak properly to the child."
Sophia quickened her pace, rushing to the front to prevent Christopher from suddenly throwing things at Alice, shielding Alice behind her.
Seeing this, Lily hurriedly walked up, pleading loudly with Christopher as she moved forward, "Dad! Please don’t be so angry, okay? My sister, she has her reasons for doing this."
While speaking, she was about to charge to the front, but she was pulled back by her elder sister.
Christopher hadn’t expected Lily to co too, he paused for a mont, but soon his gaze returned to Alice, "What reasons can you possibly have? I think you’ve lost your mind."
He was still furious, the veins on his forehead were visible.
"Dad! Shi—"
Lily wanted to counter Christopher’s words for Alice, but was pulled aside by Alice, "It’s okay, I’ll speak to Dad."
Alice didn’t want Lily to get overly emotional, as that wouldn’t be good for the child in her womb. After pulling Lily aside, she strode toward Christopher.
Seeing this, Sophia promptly walked up beside her, almost walking side by side with Alice, but she spoke first, "Christopher! Let’s go inside with the kids and talk; your behavior could frighten them. Lily is pregnant, if sothing happens to her, we won’t be able to explain to Easton."
When they entered, Sophia had already thought of this strategy, bringing up pregnant Lily at this critical mont.
Lily’s backing was Easton Hols; Sophia knew that Christopher’s current pride lay in Easton, and he also had so apprehension about Easton.
Upon hearing Sophia ntion Easton, Christopher’s expression imdiately improved, glaring at Alice, he turned and walked into the living room.
