"Are you really jealous of ?"
Being called a wife-lover by his best friend, Easton Hols wasn’t upset at all, nor did he feel uncomfortable. He even admitted it generously, "If you’re envious of being a wife-lover, you should hurry up and find a wife too, don’t stay single anymore."
The corners of his mouth lifted slightly, making it clear that he quite liked the title of a wife-lover.
"If you keep showing off, do you believe I’ll take my sister ho?" Seeing Easton looking so smug, Ryan Taylor couldn’t help it and blurted out this line.
"I don’t believe it!"
His wife wasn’t soone just anyone could take away, Easton wasn’t worried about this at all. Besides, Ryan was just joking with him, so he was even less concerned.
Ryan pouted in dissatisfaction, "Then one day I’ll try to see if I can take my sister ho."
This ti, when he said taking her ho, he wasn’t joking with his good friend, he was serious.
Ever since finding out that Lily Turner was Daxton Taylor’s child, Aiden Taylor was always thinking about how to acknowledge her, but Lily hadn’t made any moves.
He couldn’t go directly to her to acknowledge her, nor could he drag her ho to recognize her as family, so now he could only wait.
Watching the situation like this, Ryan saw and was anxious for Lily to recognize her family sooner and thought about doing sothing for his dad to help with the situation.
His dad couldn’t go directly to acknowledge her, but maybe he could give it a try and see if he could bring this cousin ho for recognition.
"Give her a little more ti, I believe she will acknowledge you all soday." Easton could tell that Ryan was anxious about Lily acknowledging the family. Easton believed that everything should be at Lily’s pace; he wouldn’t force or rush her, but he could encourage her at the right ti.
Ryan nodded, "You should also help persuade your wife; our whole family is waiting for her to co ho and acknowledge us."
His parents found it hard to say anything, and he needed to consider seriously before saying anything himself, but his best friend didn’t have so many reservations. Since Easton and Lily were married, it was much more convenient for them to talk about these matters.
"Could the reason sis-in-law is unwilling to co ho be because of Evelyn?" After staying silent for a long ti, Thomas Fisher finally spoke up, causing the two older brothers to turn and look at him, frowning, "Why are you looking at like that? Did I say sothing wrong again?"
He was only analyzing the situation for the two of them. Was there really a need to look at him like that? He prided himself on analyzing it quite reasonably.
Easton and Ryan had been so focused on persuading Lily to recognize her family that they hadn’t thought deeply about why she was reluctant. Hearing Thomas’s analysis gave them a new perspective on the matter.
"Easton! Evelyn has beco much more well-behaved now. She no longer pesters my parents or to help her pursue you, and she hasn’t brought you and Lily up in front of us again." Ever since Easton and Lily’s wedding, Evelyn had cald down a lot. Just like Ryan said, she wasn’t causing a fuss for her family to help her win Easton back.
Since seeing Evelyn on their wedding day, Easton hadn’t seen her since. He wasn’t really clear on what her current situation was, but he genuinely didn’t care how she was doing.
As long as she didn’t interfere with his and Lily’s life, he was thankful, "Hopefully, she’s truly co to her senses."
