"Thomas’s mom won’t agree to them being together, in the end, Alice will still be with our Benjamin," Isla Lane could no longer listen to Charlotte before rudely interrupting her speech.
At the ntion of Thomas’s mom, Charlotte suddenly rembered. Last night her mom called Autumn York and told her about Alice Turner and Thomas Fisher being together.
"Mom! Aunt Autumn hasn’t t Alice yet. Once she ets Alice, she’ll definitely like her." Charlotte knew very well how lovable Alice was, and so did Isla; otherwise, her mom wouldn’t insist so much on having Alice as her daughter-in-law.

Her son being with the girl he likes... He’d be too happy to care about these details.
Thinking this, her belief in her plan beca even stronger, and she decided to proceed as she thought, she aid to win Alice back for her son.
"But Alice doesn’t like Benjamin; the one she loves is Thomas." Charlotte saw Isla’s intentions and promptly reminded her, hoping to make her mom see the true situation and not act recklessly.
Hearing Thomas Fisher’s na, Isla Lane snorted displeasedly, "That brat Thomas! He knows Alice is Benjamin’s wife but still insists on getting involved."
The thought of Alice being taken away by Thomas Fisher ignited a fire within her.
"Mom! You can’t say that. It’s not Thomas’s fault. If anyone is to bla, it’s Benjamin for not cherishing Alice. Alice was his wife, and he wasted such a good opportunity." Charlotte wasn’t opposing Isla Lane; she was just stating the truth as she saw it, not wanting to shift the bla to others just because she was Benjamin’s sister.
Isla Lane completely misunderstood Charlotte’s aning. Upon hearing this, she thought Charlotte was speaking on behalf of Thomas. She had already endured a lot when in the ward earlier, but now she could no longer hold back.
"How can you say it’s not his fault? If he hadn’t interfered, would Alice have divorced Benjamin? If Alice hadn’t divorced Benjamin, would Benjamin be injured and hospitalized now?" Her voice grew progressively more emotional, angrier as she yelled out her last words.
