Bzzz Bzzz Bzzz!
The sudden vibration of a phone disrupted the passionate two.
Alice Turner reached out to push Thomas Fisher away, but he clung to her like he was glued to her, and she couldn’t move him an inch.
Thomas Fisher wanted to ignore the phone vibrating in his pocket, but the buzzing ca again and again, showing no sign of stopping.
Damn it! Who on earth is so blind to call at this ti?
He gave her a deep kiss before reluctantly straightening up, leaning sideways against her.
While Thomas Fisher was preparing to answer the call, Alice Turner used her strong mory to head for the room she once stayed in, tidying up the clothes Thomas had disheveled as she walked.
"Mom! What’s up with the call?"
As Alice Turner was about to reach the room’s door, she heard Thomas Fisher answering the call, and with his voice, the lights in the room suddenly lit up.
The sudden light made Alice Turner instinctively close her eyes for a mont, but her steps were unaffected, as she swiftly walked into the room.
Switching on the light in the room, the first thing she did was look towards the wardrobe, and there indeed was her suitcase.
Without hesitation, she imdiately went over to grab her suitcase, and after confirming that there were no other items of hers on the bed or bedside table, she pulled her suitcase out of the room.
At this mont, Thomas Fisher had just ended the call with Autumn York and was about to step into the room to find Alice Turner when he suddenly saw her walking out with her suitcase, quickly going to greet her, "You’re... leaving already?"
He looked at her, full of reluctance.
"Yeah, you should head back early too, so your aunt won’t worry." Alice Turner nodded at the man approaching her and continued pulling her suitcase towards the door, her pace unconsciously quickening.
Seeing this, Thomas Fisher imdiately turned to follow, bending over to take the suitcase from Alice Turner’s hand, "I’m not a three-year-old child; my mom won’t worry. I’ll take you ho."
He didn’t catch the actual aning behind her words; he just took it at face value, without delving into the deeper aning of her words.
"No need, I can drive back myself." Alice Turner reached out to take back her suitcase, but as soon as she extended her hand, Thomas Fisher held it. She didn’t shake off his hand, allowing him to hold hers, and walked out of the door with his lead.
"I know you’re very independent, but don’t forget you’re my girlfriend now. It’s my privilege as your boyfriend to take you ho and be with you." Thomas Fisher felt a sense of not being needed, a feeling he disliked; he’d rather she clung to him every day than be so independent and not need him.
Hearing Thomas Fisher say this, Alice Turner suddenly tightened her grip on his hand, tilting her head to give him a smile, "I understand."
Inwardly, a deep sadness brewed, yet on the surface, she maintained her smile.
"Since you know, stick to a bit more in the future. I like the feeling of you clinging to ." Thomas Fisher raised the hand holding Alice Turner’s, bringing it to his lips, and kissed the back of her hand.
Alice Turner said nothing, giving Thomas Fisher a glance, then silently turned her head to one side, pretending to look at the scenery in the corridor.
