In the morning, Lily Turner was woken up by the reveille. Opening her eyes to the unfamiliar surroundings, she sat up abruptly in a daze.
"Awake?"
Hearing a voice, Lily turned instinctively towards it and saw Easton Hols, dressed in pajamas, walking towards her.
In that instant of seeing him, her mind cleared up; she rembered she got the marriage certificate with this man yesterday, and she was in his house in the military district.
Wait a minute! Wasn’t she on the couch in the living room last night? How did she wake up in the bedroom?
Could it be that he carried her back to the room?
It must have been him; besides the two of them, she saw no third person in the room.
While Lily was still puzzling over this, Easton had already walked to the bedside. Under her stunned gaze, he opened the wardrobe, took out a clean set of training clothes, and began changing right in front of her.
"Hey! There’s soone else here, can’t you be a bit more discreet?" Suddenly seeing a bare body, Lily snapped back to reality and imdiately turned her back to the naked man, covering her eyes.
Compared to the bashful Lily, Easton appeared thick-skinned, calmly dressing at his own pace.
"You’re not an outsider, why should I be discreet?"
His eyes fixed on the woman with her back to him, a charming curve appeared at his lips.
"I thought you seed so proper at first, but turns out you’re quite the opposite." The first impression Easton gave Lily was that of an aloof figure, unapproachable. However, after several encounters, her impression of him had completely changed.
Hearing this, Easton’s mouth twitched slightly, as he bent over and leaned closer, "How am I improper?"
A sudden voice at her ear startled the unprepared Lily. Instinctively turning her head to the side, her lips brushed against Easton’s.
Easton never expected such an unintended action to yield such a pleasant surprise. He didn’t let this opportunity slip by.
The mont Lily reacted, he cupped the back of her head, preventing her from escaping his lips, and kissed her deeply.
Instinctively, Lily reached out to push the man kissing her. Not only did she fail to push him away, but her hands were also caught by the man.
Could anyone be more unlucky?
Just as Lily was thinking of other ways to push Easton away, he suddenly released her. Before she could celebrate, she heard him say, "I have to go train now; I’ll make it up to you later."
With that, he gave her a strong kiss and reluctantly straightened up.
"You..."
"Be good and wait for at ho. If I co back and you’re not here, you’ll bear the consequences!"
Easton pointed at Lily, warning her before turning to stride out of the room. As he turned, a joyful smile appeared on his face.
"Easton Hols! How can you bully soone like this?" Grabbing a pillow, Lily hurled it at the tall and upright back. Sensing movent behind him, Easton swiftly turned and caught the pillow accurately.
"Your performance is too poor, an extra thirty minutes later." Tossing the pillow back onto the bed, Easton left with a aningful smile on his lips.
