William Turner’s dreams are well understood by Lily Turner, and Easton Hols is fully aware of Lily’s thoughts, which Callix Linton has also noticed.
Since then, every weekend, William Turner has been going to his sister’s house with Athena Linton, where they study and play together.
The Linton family patriarch is not idle either, telling William tales of his military experiences, and Easton Hols is no slouch, not only sharing his books on military topics with William but also offering him practical knowledge in this area.
Eventually, William didn’t even go ho, spending weekends with Athena at his sister’s house and returning to school with her on Sunday nights, essentially leaving his family out of the loop.
Christopher Turner is thrilled that his son’s relationship with his son-in-law’s family is so good, and he not only doesn’t restrict William from visiting the Linton family but also wholeheartedly supports his actions.
Sophia Wood, however, has a different opinion and approach. She advocates for William to visit the Linton family less frequently, believing her son should not disrupt her daughter and son-in-law’s family life excessively.

Faced with this, Sophia is left helpless, occasionally bringing gifts to visit Callix Linton, the Linton family elder.

Due to matters concerning Ivy Shaw, Alia Linton has never been able to resolve her internal conflict with Sophia, who also remains troubled over the incident where she blas Alia for Ivy Shaw’s demise.
Whenever Sophia visits the Linton family, Alia either finds an excuse to leave or hides in her room, avoiding being in the sa space as Sophia.
Sophia also makes efforts to avoid Alia, calling Lily Turner before her visits to ensure she cos when Alia is not ho.
Watching the two mothers behave this way makes Lily feel frustrated, yet she has no idea how to disentangle the current impasse.
Concerning Alia Linton, as her relationship with her mother-in-law has just ward, Lily feels she cannot directly say anything.
With her own mother, she finds it much easier to face and continuously persuades her to make peace with her mother-in-law for the sake of her and her unborn child.
Her mother always agrees to try, but at critical monts she falters, unable to speak when she sees her mother-in-law.
Lily’s silent efforts and contributions do not go unnoticed by Easton Hols or Callix Linton.
Seeing his granddaughter-in-law striving to ease the relationship between the two mothers pains Callix, yet also fills him with comfort.
In a private conversation with Alia, Callix did not solely bla her for her mistakes or immaturity, but instead gently spoke with her.
The discussion ranged from Lily’s understanding and kindness to the relationship between Easton and Lily, as well as the Turner and Taylor families’ hopes for their happiness.
Callix hopes his daughter can quickly let go of her emotional burdens and truly move on from the incident over twenty years ago, believing only then can their family be happy and harmonious.
