Lily Turner and Easton Hols were completely at ease because Alia Linton took care of all the baby items, leaving them to simply wait to beco parents.
Sophia Wood was unaware that Alia Linton had already prepared everything for the baby. Seeing that the baby’s due date was approaching, she also began preparing baby items.
Once everything was ready, she and Christopher Turner went to the Linton Family’s estate, and it was only then that she discovered Alia Linton had already prepared everything.
"Mom! The baby’s room is already piled high with baby products, and now you’ve brought more. I have no idea where to put them." Looking at the items Christopher and Sophia had just brought in, Lily Turner felt overwheld and didn’t know where to store them.
Sophia pointed to the things on the sofa and said, "These are necessities for the baby."
She was about to beco a grandmother and felt an extraordinary excitent; she had ticulously compared and selected items from various mother-baby stores.
Since no one knew whether Lily’s baby was a boy or a girl, Sophia bought things for both boys and girls.
"Thank you, Dad! Thank you, Mom!"
Seeing his in-laws bring so many things, Easton Hols first expressed his gratitude—not out of politeness, but from genuine appreciation.
He felt it was heartfelt of his in-laws, and he couldn’t let it go without thanking them.
Christopher Turner imdiately responded, "We’re all family, no need to thank us."
"Exactly, there’s no need to be so polite among family," Sophia added.
"Then I won’t be formal with you two old folks; I’ll take these things upstairs." Easton smiled at Christopher and Sophia, picked up a portion of the items, and headed upstairs. There were so many things, he had to make several trips.
Seeing this, Christopher Turner imdiately stood up and was about to help carry things upstairs. Before he could pick anything up, Callix Linton spoke up, "Lily’s Dad! Don’t bother. Let Easton do it alone; you’ve already worked hard bringing them over."
As he spoke, he pointed to a spot on the sofa, signaling Christopher to sit down.
"Dad! Please sit down; Easton can handle it alone." With just half a month to go until her due date, Lily’s belly was quite large, making her movents inconvenient. She wanted to get up and stop Christopher, but her prominent belly restricted her actions.
Seeing both Mr. Linton and Lily stopping Christopher, Sophia quickly spoke up, "Christopher! Listen to Lily’s grandpa."
She gave her husband a look, signaling him to sit back in his original position.
"Alright, I’ll be lazy just this once."
Christopher glanced at Mr. Linton, walked over, and sat back in his original spot. Just as he sat down, Easton ca back downstairs, picked up more items, and went back up again.
Sophia stopped paying attention to those things and shifted her gaze from them to Lily, who was heavily pregnant. "Have you felt any discomfort lately?"
As soone who had been through it before, she knew that approaching the due date, pregnant won often felt so discomfort, and so even experienced swollen feet.
"It’s fine. Sotis when I walk a lot, my feet get a little swollen, but it gets better after so rest." Lily felt particularly well and didn’t feel any discomfort.
