Lily Turner felt intense pressure; it wasn’t a genuine need to go to the bathroom, but rather the baby inside her was moving down, giving her a strong urge to go.
"Easton! Go call the doctor." Sophia Wood was tightly hugged by Lily Turner, unable to move, so she had to ask Easton Hols to call the doctor for Lily Turner’s examination.
Glancing at Lily Turner’s pained expression, Easton Hols imdiately turned around and walked out to call the doctor.
"Use this."
After Easton Hols left, Alia Linton bent down to pick up the chamber pot placed under the bed for Lily Turner to use, in case of ergencies.
Looking at the sudden appearance of the item, Lily Turner was embarrassed and looked up at Alia Linton, then glanced at Sophia Wood.
"...Alright."
Though she wasn’t entirely clear on the reasons why the two mothers wouldn’t let her go to the bathroom, she had so understanding of it, and obediently accepted their advice to use the chamber pot.
As Alia Linton and Sophia Wood had expected, Lily Turner indeed didn’t have a genuine need; after squatting for a long ti, she hadn’t released anything.
At this mont, Easton Hols also brought the doctor in. The doctor, having listened to Easton Hols describe Lily Turner’s situation, already had an initial assessnt.
Lily Turner pulled up her pants and lay flat on the bed as the doctor began the second examination, all the while telling the three family mbers nearby, "The cervix is already dilated, give her sothing to eat so she won’t lack strength during childbirth."
The doctor, noticing Lily Turner’s frail figure, was sowhat worried about her ability to exert strength later.
"I’ll go get her sothing to eat right away."
Easton Hols replied to the doctor, and then turned his gaze to Lily Turner lying on the bed, looking at her with deep affection, "Honey! What would you like to eat?"
Seeing her nervous face, he reached out to rub her cheek, comforting her anxious mood.
At this mont, Lily Turner didn’t feel hungry at all, especially with the extre anxiety; she simply had no appetite, "I don’t want to eat anything right now."
She shook her head vigorously at the man standing by the bed, strongly signaling her unwillingness to eat.
"Even if you don’t feel like it, you need to eat a little, otherwise you’ll have no strength during childbirth." The doctor, having finished the examination and seeing Lily Turner’s lack of interest in eating, promptly reminded her before leaving.
Seeing this, Easton Hols quickly and gently urged: "Co on! We should listen to the doctor, let the moms stay here with you while I go get you sothing to eat."
With those words, he gently stroked her cheek before turning and hurriedly leaving the labor room.
"Don’t be so nervous, childbirth isn’t as frightening as you think. You need to keep calm and welco the baby’s arrival." The doctor, quite experienced, had seen many nervous mothers like Lily Turner with their first child and understood the anxiety.
Sophia Wood and Alia Linton nodded in agreent and approval with the doctor’s words.
Lily Turner’s theoretical knowledge, although not extensive, was sufficient, yet her practical experience was zero. She knew her anxiety was not beneficial and could even negatively impact childbirth.
She knew everything and understood everything, but just couldn’t control her anxiety.
"Thank you, Dr. Hao! I will." Despite her inner tension, she didn’t want the doctor and the two mothers to worry about her.
