When Lily Turner said her backside was so uncomfortable it felt like it was falling off, Sophia Wood and Alia Linton imdiately thought it was because of the baby pressing down inside her. Both of them hurried over, each taking a hand to massage Lily’s backside.
Easton Hols tightened his arm around Lily Turner, hugging her tightly. He hoped it would give her so strength and alleviate her discomfort.
Maybe it was the two mothers’ rubbing, or maybe Easton Hols’ comforting efforts that worked, but Lily Turner felt less uncomfortable than before.
"Moms! You don’t need to rub anymore, I’m feeling much better now." Lily didn’t mind her own mother massaging her, but having her mother-in-law do it as well made her feel a bit awkward, so as she spoke, she reached out to move Alia Linton’s hand away from her backside.
Hearing that she felt less uncomfortable, Sophia Wood and Alia Linton didn’t completely relax. They knew it was just temporary, and soon she would feel uncomfortable again, with the intervals becoming shorter and shorter.
Although Lily Turner had read a lot of books and had a wealth of theoretical knowledge, at the critical mont, she returned all that knowledge back to the books.
Lacking any experience, she had no idea that she was currently experiencing contractions. It wasn’t until ten minutes later, when she felt uncomfortable again, that she realized it wasn’t that simple.
At first, the intervals were ten minutes apart, but they gradually shortened to several minutes, and eventually beca ten to twenty seconds apart.
When Lily Turner was ready for delivery, the doctor had a nurse move her from the labor room to the delivery room. Easton Hols wanted to go in with her, but she refused him, as she didn’t want him standing by her side, which would make her more nervous.
"You should listen to Lily. There are doctors in there, don’t worry too much about her." Sophia Wood patted Easton Hols on the back, urging him not to worry too much about Lily being taken into the delivery room. She was reassuring Easton, but also herself.
Seeing her daughter being pushed into the delivery room, she felt exceptionally nervous and worried, even more intensely than when she herself had given birth.
Easton Hols kept his eyes glued to the delivery room door. The mont Lily Turner was pushed inside, his heart went in with her.
At this mont, all his attention was focused on what was happening inside the delivery room. He was oblivious to everything else around him; nothing seed to exist anymore. His eyes were fixed on the delivery room, and his heart was with Lily Turner inside.
Sophia Wood glanced at Easton Hols, who was far more nervous than herself, and then sat down in a nearby chair. She knew very well that no matter how nervous or worried she felt now, it wouldn’t help Lily inside the delivery room.
She could only wait quietly and silently pray that her daughter would successfully deliver the baby.
Alia Linton was no less anxious than Sophia Wood. Leaning against the wall by the delivery room door, she waited quietly for the first cries of the newborn.
"Waa..."
With the baby’s loud cries, the door to the delivery room opened from the inside, and a nurse ca out.
"Sir! Your wife has given birth to a baby boy. Mother and child are safe!" After reporting the good news, the nurse turned back into the delivery room.
Mother and child are safe!
At this mont, no words could sound more wonderful than these.
Upon hearing that Lily Turner and the baby were safe, Easton Hols exhaled a long breath, his tense nerves began to relax, and his serious expression gradually lightened.
