"Easton Hols! Your grandpa is so interesting."
Rembering Callix Linton’s amusing deanor just now, Lily Turner couldn’t help but whisper to Easton Hols, and then blurted out, "Much more interesting than you."
As soon as she said that, she felt her hand being squeezed tightly.
It was at that mont that Lily suddenly realized she might have upset a certain soone with her words, but what she said was true—his grandpa is indeed much more interesting than him.
"But you’re better-looking than your grandpa." Before Easton could feel flattered, Lily imdiately added, "Your grandpa looks pretty good, too. You can tell he was a handso guy when he was young."
After saying that, she tilted her head to look at the man leading her, and even though she only saw one side of his face, she could tell he was unhappy.
"Hey! Why are you like this? I was complinting your grandpa, not soone else’s."
She really couldn’t understand why he was upset. Was there sothing wrong with what she said? She didn’t think so at all.
Easton Hols remained silent for a long ti, and Lily Turner was so annoyed she poked him, "You’re really no fun, I’m not talking to you anymore."
Having said that, she gave him a cold snort and turned to look elsewhere.
She now found watching the scenery more interesting than looking at his handso face, at least she wouldn’t get annoyed.
"In the future, don’t just follow anyone who calls you, what if it’s a bad person?" After a long pause, Easton finally spoke, and the first thing he said was sothing Lily couldn’t accept.
Lily Turner withdrew her gaze from the distance and quickly turned to the man walking beside her, "Wasn’t that person your grandpa? How could he be a bad person?"
This person is so strange, calling his own grandpa a bad person.
"I didn’t say my grandpa is a bad person." This girl! She really knew how to twist his words. Easton Hols sighed and continued, "Was the person who ca over just now really my grandpa? I think probably not, and the person definitely didn’t specify who he was taking you to et."
He didn’t need to think to know who had called her at ho—it was either Callix Linton’s bodyguard, Lucas Zimrman, or nobody else.
Hearing that, Lily Turner gasped in surprise, "How do you know so clearly? Did you bug the house?"
He guessed so accurately, as if he had seen or heard it firsthand. Later, when she got back, she would have to check if there were any surveillance or listening devices installed in the house.
"That’s right! So from now on, don’t act recklessly at ho." Seeing Lily’s doubtful expression, Easton Hols very much wanted to laugh, but he held it in, playing along with her and joking.
Because Easton’s expression was so serious, Lily, who already had so doubts, actually believed it. She raised her hand and hit Easton, "When did I act recklessly?"
Installing surveillance in his own house—what’s wrong with this guy? Who does he want to spy on?
"Didn’t I tell you to wait at ho obediently for to co back? But you didn’t listen and ran out." Seeing how firmly Lily believed his words, Easton really wanted to burst out laughing, but he held it in very hard, and even pretended to be angry and put on a stern face, looking sideways at her, "Your performance was too poor, when we get back, you’ll get an extra half-hour of kiss punishnt."
After finishing, he pulled her along and headed ho with big strides.
