Besides the two people involved and Luke Crowe, everyone else present wanted to know how Easton Hols and Lily Turner t.
So people voiced it out loud, while others didn’t dare to, yet their curious eyes betrayed their thoughts.
"Easton! Tell everyone, how did you and Lily actually et?" While other comrades might have been reserved, Jaxon Dyer didn’t hold back. His relationship with Easton Hols was like this—serious and professional at work, but very casual otherwise.
At this mont, it wasn’t gossiping; he genuinely wanted to know how the two t.
His good buddy was under his nose every day, yet he didn’t notice anything unusual.
Was it because his good buddy was too good at keeping secrets? Or had his own sensitivity waned?
Upon hearing Jaxon Dyer’s suggestion, Lily Turner’s heart skipped a beat. She quietly glanced at Easton Hols, sitting to her left, only to et his gaze.
When their eyes t, both of them froze for a mont.
Realizing what was happening, Lily quickly turned her head away, avoiding Easton’s sowhat aningful gaze.
"Easton! Stop staring blankly at Lily, she won’t run away. Hurry up and tell us your romantic story with her; everyone is waiting to hear." Without getting a tily response from Easton, Jaxon noticed Easton staring at Lily and couldn’t help but tease.
This remark imdiately elicited a burst of laughter.
Lily shyly lowered her head, yet Easton, acting as if nothing had happened, withdrew his gaze and looked over at Jaxon Dyer, who was two seats away.
"Alright! Let satisfy your curiosity now." As he spoke, he stood up from his seat, and at the mont he rose, he felt his clothes being tugged at.
Without looking, Easton knew it was Lily, so he clasped the hand pulling his clothes, giving it a reassuring squeeze to silently tell her he wouldn’t say anything reckless.
As Easton began to speak, Jaxon quickly added, "It’s not just satisfying my curiosity but everyone’s curiosity."
Everyone was curious, but only he dared to voice it out loud.
Easton glanced at Jaxon, then shifted his gaze to the other comrades present, "Everyone, listen up well; I’ll only say this once and won’t repeat it."
"Our eting was quite accidental but full of drama." Pausing for a mont, he continued, "At our first eting, your sister-in-law even thought I was a stalker reporter, almost..."
"Mistook you for a paparazzo? Haha... that’s hilarious." Jaxon laughed as if he’d heard a funny joke, "Could it be you had an eye on her long ago and pretended to be a paparazzo to follow her?"
In the past, he might not have dared to make such a bold guess, but now he felt nothing was impossible.
His good buddy seed very fond of Lily; if he hadn’t been interested in her earlier, would he have married her so quickly?
"Your imagination is quite rich, I’ll give you a thumbs up!" Easton said, though without making the gesture, glancing at Jaxon, and finally adding, "We got to know each other after the misunderstanding."
