After Evelyn Taylor entered, her eyes imdiately searched for Easton Hols, and as she looked next to him, she saw the woman sitting closely beside him.
Lily Turner?!
When Evelyn clearly saw that the woman sitting next to Easton Hols was Lily Turner, her expression visibly froze for a mont, but she quickly adjusted her expression back to normal.
"I heard that Mr. Wei is giving out wedding candies tonight, so I ca over specifically to get so." As Evelyn spoke, she had already walked over to Easton Hols, extending her delicate hand, "Everyone has so candy, where’s mine?"
She acted as if she hadn’t noticed Lily Turner sitting beside Easton Hols, looking straight ahead at the man seated calmly in his chair.
Easton Hols raised his hand and pointed to a plate in front of him, which contained sunflower seeds, peanuts, and candy he had bought in the morning, "Help yourself."
"Easton, give it to personally!"
With Evelyn’s words, everyone present, except for Evelyn and Easton Hols, turned their attention to Lily Turner.
Why are these people looking at her? And why with such strange expressions?
Could it be that this newly arrived woman has an unclear past with him?
Choosing to ignore the gazes directed at her, Lily Turner turned to look at Easton Hols, sitting beside her, "Honey, who is this woman?"
Although this woman was calling him Easton, she could tell that this woman was probably a few years older than her, though she couldn’t say exactly how many.
"She’s Ryan’s sister, Evelyn."
Though Lily Turner called him "Honey" with an intention, Easton Hols was still thrilled and happy, though he didn’t show it on the surface, he cooperated by pointing to Evelyn Taylor, who was asking for candy.
Lily Turner had only t Ryan Taylor once, and that single eting she was quite drunk, so she couldn’t rember who Easton’s ntioned Ryan was.
"The friend who was with us when we drank the other day." Seeing Lily’s confused expression, Easton Hols realized she had forgotten and quickly moved closer to remind her.
Had they drunk together? How could she rem... Oh, she rembered!
Lily Turner suddenly recalled the scene of drinking at the bar that night, and she rembered that sowhat reserved man.
"Easton!"
Feeling ignored by Easton Hols, Evelyn Taylor felt quite sad and called out with a heavy tone.
As soon as she finished speaking, he placed a piece of candy in her hand, and she was dumbfounded.
She didn’t co for the candy, alright?
"Thank you, Easton!"
After thanking him, Evelyn Taylor turned to a comrade sitting on the other side and said, "Move over a bit."
As she spoke, she had already reached out to pull the comrade’s chair.
With the row seated fully, the comrade felt it wasn’t appropriate to squeeze into soone else’s chair, so he stood up to give Evelyn Taylor his seat, then went to look for another empty spot.
Seeing the mood change, Jaxon Dyer gestured silently for the party to continue, attempting to liven up the atmosphere again.
Once the directive was given, the comrades began their orderly program performances.
Although the ti was tight and the program preparations weren’t very sufficient, everyone perford earnestly.
Lily Turner, however, wasn’t watching attentively. She glanced stealthily with the corner of her eye at Easton Hols, who was sitting beside her, seeing him sitting straight and looking focused on the program.
"Easton! Open your mouth!"
Evelyn Taylor, holding a peeled peanut, brought it to Easton Hols’s lips.
