When he received a call from his sister Evelyn Taylor, Ryan Taylor was socializing outside. This was so unexpected that he walked out of the private room with the phone.
"How is this impossible? I just attended the party celebrating Easton’s wedding." Evelyn could tell that her own brother also didn’t know about Easton and Lily Turner’s marriage.
What on earth is going on? How co no one knows about their marriage?
The friends don’t know, the comrades don’t know, and their family probably doesn’t know either, right?
Evelyn firmly believed that Easton Hols’s family also didn’t know, otherwise they wouldn’t be completely in the dark.
If Ryan had been doubting his sister Evelyn earlier, he was now slowly starting to believe her.
"Are you still at the Military Departnt?" He concluded that the party was held at the Military Departnt, as that was the only place where entertainnt reporters wouldn’t pester.
"I’ve already left the Military Departnt, I’m on my way ho." Evelyn tilted her head to look out the car window as it sped in the direction of her ho.
Hearing this, Ryan no longer intended to continue chatting with his sister on the phone. "Take care on the road; I have things to attend to here, so I won’t idle chat, hanging up..."
"Bro! Don’t hang up yet, I still have questions for you." Evelyn prevented her brother from hanging up just in ti, and without waiting for his reaction, she spoke again: "You should know when Easton and Lily t, right?"
They might not know about the marriage, but they should know when they t.
However, Ryan’s answer once again disappointed Evelyn, as he responded, "I don’t know either."
He really didn’t know. Reflecting on it now, his good brother had really kept it under wraps, hiding such a major event from them three brothers.
"Bro! How co you don’t know anything? What kind of friend are you?" Evelyn was sowhat angry, loudly questioning her brother who knew nothing on the other end of the phone.
Faced with repeated questioning from his sister, Ryan couldn’t maintain his composure either and retorted directly, "If you want to know, ask him yourself, I can’t be bothered to talk nonsense with you now."
After saying this, Ryan hung up Evelyn’s call rather coolly. He understood his sister; she called him to inquire only because she couldn’t get answers out of their good friend.
His good brother got married, yet he didn’t know anything about it. Surely, the other two brothers didn’t know either, otherwise they wouldn’t be so quiet.
After hanging up on Evelyn, Ryan did not return to the private room but instead dialed Easton Hols’s number while standing there.
The phone rang for a long ti with no answer. Just before it was about to automatically hang up, soone finally answered.
"Hey, buddy, what exactly are you doing? Why did you take so long to answer?" Ryan opened with questions, not giving the person on the other line a chance to speak.
"He’s taking a shower right now, you..."
"Who are you?"
The voice Ryan heard was not the all-too-familiar one, but rather a woman’s voice that sounded sowhat familiar. If he guessed correctly, this woman must be Lily Turner.
The woman on the other end of the line gave him a definite answer: "I am Lily Turner, may I ask what you need him for?"
