Easton Hols blocked Bella Carter, who was about to head to the kitchen to grab chopsticks and a bowl for him, back into the living room, and at the sa ti, pulled Lily Turner down onto the sofa to sit with him.
Seeing the situation, Bella Carter was a bit puzzled, "You..."
"I’ll just use my wife’s chopsticks," Easton Hols said, then turned his gaze, tilted his head to look at Lily Turner sitting beside him. "Wifey! This is yours, right?"
When he walked over just now, he imdiately recognized which bowl of dumplings she had been eating from.
This girl! She eats so little of everything, really considers herself a little sparrow.
No! Sotis even a little sparrow might eat more than she does.
Lily Turner instinctively nodded, before she could say anything, she saw Easton Hols already pick up her chopsticks, and under her confused and surprised gaze, he picked up a dumpling with them and stuffed it into his mouth.
"Sister-in-law! These dumplings are getting tastier," Easton Hols didn’t hold back his praise to Bella Carter after swallowing the dumpling.
Over the years, he had eaten plenty of dumplings from Jaxon Dyer’s family, but these ones tasted different, better than any he had eaten before.
Unaware, Easton Hols thought the dumplings he was eating were personally made by Bella Carter, but her next words corrected his assumption, "These dumplings weren’t made by , they were brought over by my mother-in-law."
"If you like them, have more."
Bella Carter took the thermal container placed at the side, opened it, and with communal chopsticks, scooped so of the dumplings into Lily Turner’s bowl.
Everything happened so quickly that Lily Turner didn’t have ti to stop her, suddenly her bowl was filled with many dumplings, "Sister-in-law! That’s enough!"
As she spoke, she reached out to stop Bella Carter’s hand from scooping more.
This was the second ti today Lily Turner had stopped Bella Carter. Earlier, before Easton Hols arrived, she had already stopped Bella Carter once because of the dumplings.
Being stopped once more, Bella Carter didn’t give up as easily as she did the first ti. This ti, she moved Lily Turner’s hand from her wrist, and before Lily could stop her again, she scooped more dumplings into the bowl.
"These aren’t for you, they’re for Easton to eat." Only when there was no more room in the bowl did Bella Carter put the thermal container back on the coffee table.
"Thank you, sister-in-law!"
Easton Hols politely said thank you, but his actions were far from polite. He reached out for the bowl full of dumplings and picked one up to put in his mouth.
Seeing this, Lily Turner rubbed her forehead in frustration, then secretly tugged on Easton Hols’ sleeve, whispering so only he could hear, "How can you do this? The Captain hasn’t even eaten yet."
Bella Carter had just been on the phone in the kitchen with Jaxon Dyer, which Lily Turner didn’t know. She had just observed there were only a few dumplings left in the thermal container.
"Captain Dyer is eating at the cafeteria today," Easton Hols smiled at Lily as he tilted his head, then picked up a dumpling and, as if no one was watching, held it up to her mouth. "Don’t think too much, relax and eat."
"I, um..."
When Lily Turner opened her mouth to refuse, it just gave Easton Hols the chance to feed her the dumpling directly.
Seeing this scene, Bella Carter, sitting on the side, widened her eyes in surprise, but soon regained her composure and smiled, "Lily! This is the first ti I’ve seen Easton act like this with a woman."
