Lily Turner shoved the phone into Easton Hols’ hand, then turned to head downstairs for a drink of water. Just as she turned, however, a large hand pulled her back. She looked back, puzzled: "Why are you grabbing ?"
As she spoke, she instinctively struggled to free her hand, but he held on too tightly. She struggled a few tis without success.
"Let’s go back to the room together."
Easton assud Lily was heading back to the room, so he pulled her along without any care for the buzzing phone in his hand.
Seeing this, Lily glanced at the phone in Easton’s hand, "Aren’t you going to answer the call?"
"It’s just that girl being idle, nothing serious, ignore her." Easton put the phone back in his pocket, showing no intention of answering it.
Seeing this, Lily didn’t say anything more, "You go back to the room first, I’ll head downstairs for a drink. Do you want one? I can bring you a cup when I co back up."
Saying this, she glanced down at his hand holding hers, implying: I want to go downstairs, please let go.
"You wait in the room, I’ll go get the water."
Only then did Easton realize Lily intended to go downstairs and not back to the room. Without discussing it, he pulled her toward the room.
"I..."
"No discussion, wait in the room."
Lily wanted to go downstairs for a drink but didn’t have the chance to speak before Easton domineeringly pushed her back into the room.
"You watch TV first, I’ll be back up soon."
After settling her back into the room, he turned to go downstairs.
Once Easton was downstairs, Lily went over and sat on the sofa, picking up the remote to turn on the TV.
"According to insider information: Lily Turner and Grant Heath stayed in the backstage dressing room for a full hour and only left after an hour."
As soon as the TV was turned on, Lily saw a report about her and Grant Heath, causing her hand holding the remote to freeze montarily.
"Here are the photos taken by the informant."
The host’s voice faded as the TV showed photos of Lily and Grant hugging, then in a flash, pictures of them holding hands, even the scene of them talking in the hallway was captured.
The photos were very clear, obviously taken with a professional cara, with particularly high resolution.
Watching the photos flash by on the TV, Lily’s face turned green with anger, thinking how these people leave no stone unturned and how they take things out of context.
What are they trying to do anyway? Do they really want to completely ruin her? Is that it?
Lily lifted her hand to rake through her hair, looking frustrated and uneasy, just as Easton walked in with a glass of water and witnessed the scene.
"Why are you pulling so hard? That hair isn’t even yours?"
Hearing Easton’s voice suddenly coming from the doorway, Lily imdiately composed herself, smoothing her disheveled hair.
After tidying up, she slowly turned to look at him as he walked over.
Just as Lily was about to speak, she realized she forgot to change the TV channel, but it was too late as he had already co over.
Forget it!
He’s going to see it anyway, sooner or later. It’s not sothing she can hide.
Lily casually tossed the remote onto the sofa and got up to take the cup of water Easton handed her.
