The next day, Lily Turner was woken up by a loud banging on the door. As she opened her bleary eyes, she realized Easton Hols was no longer in bed.
BANG!
Soone outside, possibly waiting too long and losing patience, slamd the door open and stord in.
Instinctively, Lily turned her head toward the bedroom door and saw Alia Linton angrily striding towards her. Even before she reached the bed, her furious words had already hit Lily like a slap, "Lily Turner! How dare you sleep on my son’s bed? Get up at once!"
As she spoke, Alia was already at the bedside, not hesitating to bend down and yank Lily out of bed.
"Ow!"
After the exhausting ordeal last night, being pulled so roughly by Alia made Lily cry out in discomfort.
"Aunt! I can get up on my own, save your strength. You don’t look like a strongwoman." She seed like a delicate woman, but her strength was surprising and must have been fueled by intense anger towards her.
Lily wanted to shake off Alia’s grasp, but she had no energy left in her, and this could only be blad on her husband.
After hearing Lily’s words, Alia released her grip on Lily’s hand, not just because of what Lily said, but because she noticed the marks on Lily’s body.
As soone experienced, Alia understood perfectly well what those marks on Lily’s body ant.
It seed her son’s physical and ntal health were more than normal, exceeding her expectations.
She wasn’t worried about not having a grandchild to hold, but her grandchild couldn’t be born from this woman.
With that thought, Alia suddenly turned and quickly walked out of the room, as if sothing urgent had co to mind.
Lily did not have ti to speculate on why Alia suddenly left. Once she was sure Alia had gone far, she quickly got up and sat properly.
She reached for the clothes on the bedside table, dressed at lightning speed, and headed to the bathroom.
Click-clack!
While Lily was washing up in the bathroom, Alia returned, heels clicking on the floor. Upon entering, she noticed Lily was no longer on the bed and instinctively turned to leave the room.
At the door, she suddenly heard noise from the bathroom and stopped in her tracks by instinct.
After staring at the bathroom door for a while, Alia changed her course and walked over to the sofa, where she sat down waiting for Lily to co out.
Soon, the sound of water stopped, and Lily opened the door and stepped out.
"You! Co over here, we need to talk!"
Hearing Alia’s voice from the sofa, Lily frowned with a headache, but despite the headache, she walked over to where Alia was seated.
Lily sat at a place slightly distanced from Alia, and after sitting down, she looked at Alia with a calm expression, "Aunt, just say what you want to say."
There was no need to guess; she knew Alia wanted to talk about driving her away from her son, or possibly kicking her out of the house.
She had already noticed that Alia’s approach today was fiercer than the previous two tis, and she needed to be cautious or she wouldn’t know what hit her.
