Callix Linton no longer paid attention to Alia Linton. He was increasingly disappointed in this daughter of his and couldn’t be bothered to waste his breath. He might as well save his energy to focus on his grandson and granddaughter-in-law.
Seeing her father’s unwillingness to engage with her, Alia Linton felt nothing but anger and sadness, yet she couldn’t recognize what she had done wrong. She blad it all on Lily Turner.
She believed Lily Turner not only bewitched her son but also her father. She felt that Lily was just like people said on the internet—seemingly pure on the surface, but in reality, a sneaky seductress.
At that mont, she was bottling up a lot of frustration but couldn’t vent it at her father, yet she was unwilling to let it go.
Leaving her young son to her father back then was an act of helplessness, which had beco a long-standing issue for her.
"You’d better not act recklessly, Easton and my patience is also limited." As Alia rushed over, Callix Linton knew what she intended to do and, worried that things might develop beyond redemption, he loudly and aningfully reminded her.
Seeing the situation about to take a turn for the worse, Lily Turner couldn’t concern herself with whether it would be inappropriate or offend Alia Linton. She interrupted Callix Linton and simultaneously strode over to him.
"You..."
While speaking, his face was full of sorrow and anger.
She could ruin other n, but she definitely couldn’t allow this seductress to ruin her family.
Hearing her father bring up past events once again, Alia Linton felt extrely upset, getting angrier as she felt hurt, "Dad! Can you stop bringing up the past?"
Seeing Alia Linton storming towards her, Lily Turner had a very bad feeling, and her heart instantly raised a wall of defense.
Hearing her father’s increasingly excessive words, Alia Linton’s face turned purple with anger, "Dad! You’re going too far!"
Callix Linton was very emotional, and every word he spoke carried weight, leaving no room for disagreent.
As soon as Callix Linton spoke, Alia Linton abruptly halted and turned to look at her father standing a little distance away, "Dad! Can you please stop ddling in this matter?"
"Grandpa!"
As soon as Lily Turner changed her clothes and ca out, Alia Linton rushed up to her, ready for a confrontation.
She was so angry that she dispensed with any formal address, though she still rembered to call him dad.
"That’s exactly what I want to say to you, stop ddling." Callix Linton paused and then continued, "Since the day you left Easton to , you’ve lost the qualification to interfere."
"Can pretending it didn’t happen make it go away? I think you’ve learned nothing after all these years." Callix Linton angrily glared at Alia Linton and added in a huff, "Hurry back to your place and reflect well; don’t wait until the day you’re buried to learn how to live."
She knew she owed her son too much over the years, and she was now making an effort to make ands.
Lily Turner stood silently on the side, not daring to take a deep breath, fearing she would inadvertently disturb the father-daughter argunt.
"Grandpa! You must have not had breakfast yet, coming over this early, right? Let’s go out for breakfast together; I didn’t have dinner last night." As Lily Turner spoke, she had already taken Callix Linton’s arm and was leading him towards the door.
