As Lily Turner walked past Easton Hols, she didn’t stop but continued walking toward the kitchen. She pretended not to see him, not even turning her head in his direction.
That girl! Does she plan to ignore him forever?
"Aren’t you going to eat sothing?" before starting to eat, he asked her.
After entering the kitchen, Easton Hols released Lily Turner’s hand, opening the fridge to take out sothing to eat while asking, "What are we having for dinner?"
"Since you don’t even want to talk to , why would I bother saving you a al?" Lily Turner blurted out, and imdiately regretted it as soon as the words left her mouth, wishing she could bite her tongue, but she couldn’t muster the resolve.
He didn’t move his seat along with her but sat in the spot he initially sat in, looking at her keeping her distance from him.
"Don’t look anymore, the al saved for you is here." Lily Turner stopped worrying about whether his grandfather noticed anything and picked up the thermal container from the countertop to walk over to Easton Hols.
)
Sure enough, she found the food in a thermal container next to the stove. The al had already been set aside in advance; why did they still ask her to co over?
"Eat by yourself, I’m going to watch TV." She prepared to escape, looking for a place to calm down.
As she unlocked her phone to play, she noticed there were two missed calls and a text ssage.
Easton Hols didn’t let go as she wished, nor did he respond to her. He silently pulled her towards the kitchen.
Lily Turner opened her phone to check. The missed calls and the text ssage were all from Freya Yeager.
Easton Hols strode forward and grabbed the unresponsive Lily Turner. This ti, he gave her no chance to avoid him or escape from his grip.
Hearing this, Easton Hols stopped rummaging, closed the fridge door, and turned to look at Lily Turner walking over.
Lily Turner tried several tis to free her hand but couldn’t, angrily glaring at the man beside her.
"Did you save this al for ?" He reached out to take the thermal container from her hand, asking with anticipation when he took it.
Could it be that his grandfather noticed that the two of them were in a cold war?
Lily Turner didn’t respond to the man who asked her but silently walked towards the stove. Her grandfather had asked her to co out and heat up so food, so there must be so saved for him.
His implication was: I’ll be right back, stay here and wait for .
Easton Hols thought Lily Turner would leave while he went to get the spoon, but to his surprise, she didn’t leave; she just moved her seat a bit.
Despite having a lot of resentnt towards the man next to her, considering there were others at ho, Lily Turner didn’t want to argue with him here and cause a scene.
When he sat down to eat, Easton Hols realized he hadn’t brought a spoon, "Wait for , I’ll go get a spoon."
Easton Hols reached out to stop Lily Turner, who was about to leave, pulling her out of the kitchen to the dining room next door. He only let go of her hand after they sat down at the dining table.
She must have shown it too clearly just now, letting his grandfather catch on to sothing.
"Stay and eat with !"
"Let go of !"
Lily Turner only gave a glance at the man who asked her and didn’t intend to respond. She took out her phone from her pocket, planning to play on her phone to pass the ti and avoid the man.
"Lily! I know you’re deliberately not answering my calls, but I really have sothing urgent to discuss with you. Can you pick up the phone?"
