Easton Hols was just about to do sothing mischievous to Lily Turner when the waiter ca in with a water pot.
Lily Turner and the waiter both looked slightly awkward, but Easton Hols seed unfazed. He calmly let go of Lily Turner’s hand and took the water pot from the waiter’s hand, "We’ll pour ourselves."
The implied ssage was that the waiter could leave, and they could serve themselves.
The waiter was montarily stunned but seed to understand the aning in Easton Hols’ words and turned to leave the private room.
Worried about a repeat of what just happened, the mont the waiter turned to leave, Lily Turner got up and moved to the seat next to her, putting what she considered a safe distance between herself and Easton Hols.
"Why are you sitting so far away from ? I’m not going to eat you right now." Easton Hols did not get up to sit closer; he just turned his head to look at Lily Turner, who was sitting a bit far from him, then poured a glass of water and placed it on the small rotating tray to pass it to her.
Lily Turner blushed and gave Easton Hols a sideways glance, then picked up the glass and drank on her own.
Upon seeing her like this, a barely noticeable smile curved at the corner of his mouth.
During the al, the two of them maintained this distance, and this state persisted until they had finished eating and left.
"Why were you sitting so far away from while we were eating? Hmm?" As soon as they got into the car, Easton Hols leaned towards Lily Turner. At this mont, his stern face showed no emotion, and she could not discern whether he was pleased or annoyed.
Regardless of whether the man leaning towards her was pleased or annoyed, Lily Turner extended her hand to hold against the man’s chest, preventing him from getting closer, "I just wanted you to eat peacefully."
She foolishly smiled at the man, hoping that he wouldn’t dwell on what had just happened.
She just wanted him to eat peacefully!
This girl could co up with anything, and in such a short ti too.
Her ability to tell lies was getting stronger and stronger, and he was starting to be a bit impressed.
Easton Hols looked down at the two hands against his chest, his eyes full of disdain, "You sat far away just now to let eat peacefully, so what do you want by pushing away now?"
He wasn’t underestimating her, but with her soft, boneless hands, could she really hold back his robust body?
"I just want you to hurry up and drive back. If you keep wasting ti, soone’s going to call you."
When they went out to eat, it was already late, and now it’s been a long while since they finished eating.
Lily Turner thought they must have delayed Easton Hols from going to the Military Departnt; it wasn’t unheard of for him to be called away by a phone call.
Upon hearing this, Easton Hols frowned slightly but then relaxed, "Rest assured, no one will call today."
He had finished today’s tasks ahead of schedule, and unless there was so kind of ergency military affair, things shouldn’t be that coincidental, right?
"You..."
Lily Turner was just about to say sothing when Easton Hols suddenly grabbed her hands and simultaneously moved them away from his chest. He leaned close so swiftly that she didn’t have ti to react.
Buzz Buzz Buzz!
At this mont, the phone in Easton Hols’ pocket suddenly buzzed.
"Soone’s calling you!"
Seeing Easton Hols not taking action for a while, Lily Turner shouted to remind him.
