From afar, Easton Hols heard the conversation coming from the living room. Without seeing the people, just by listening to the voices, he knew who the visitor was.
Realizing it was Thomas Fisher, Easton Hols felt relieved, his anxious steps easing considerably.
"Big brother! Why are you back?"
Seeing Easton Hols walking in, Thomas Fisher was quite surprised. At this ti, shouldn’t his big brother be at the Military Departnt? Why was he back? Could it be that the Prophet predicted he would co ho?
"This is my ho, I co back whenever I want."
Easton Hols gave Thomas Fisher a glance, not kindly, and strode over to sit in the empty seat next to Lily Turner.
Thomas Fisher was not surprised at all by Easton Hols’s attitude, nor did he get angry. He turned his head and retorted, "This is your ho, I didn’t say it was mine, right?"
After rebutting, his gaze turned again towards Lily Turner, "Sister-in-law! My big brother has been used to being wild for years, you’ll have to put in so effort to ta him."
After speaking, he didn’t forget to cheekily raise his eyebrows at his big brother.
"I can’t ta your big brother."
Lily Turner blurted out imdiately. As soon as the words left her mouth, she felt a sharp pinch on her waist. Instinctively turning her head, she saw the culprit.
With others around, she didn’t feel right voicing her discontent to the culprit and silently rolled her eyes at the man who had done this to her.
Easton Hols ignored the eye roll directed at him and coldly glanced at Thomas Fisher, "Did you co to our house to start sothing today?"
After speaking, he picked up the remote control in front of him, pretending to throw it at his brother.
"Big brother! Don’t throw it at , I’m definitely not here to start trouble today, I’m here for Sister-in-law..."
Before Thomas Fisher could finish, Easton Hols threw the remote at him, leaving him feeling hurt and upset, "Big brother! Did you really throw it at ? I already told you I’m not here to cause trouble."
He caught the remote that was thrown at him, his expression looked sad, but his eyes betrayed a hint of amusent.
"How can you do this? He explained, and you still hit him with the remote."
With Easton Hols in between, Lily Turner didn’t see the amusent in Thomas Fisher’s eyes, but she clearly heard what he said and saw the sad expression on his face.
As she spoke, she raised her hand and slapped the hand that had pinched her earlier, taking this opportunity to get her revenge.
Upon hearing this, Thomas Fisher quickly hid the amusent in his eyes and leaned forward to look at Lily Turner. The sadness on his face had vanished, "Goddess Lily! You are truly kind. It was worth saving you that day, and I promise I’ll save you again next ti."
He spoke with great enthusiasm, completely disregarding a certain man’s cold gaze.
"Another ti?"
Easton Hols continued his cold stare, his sharp face showing no warmth.
Thomas Fisher slowly shifted his gaze from Lily Turner to Easton Hols, seeing that he still had a frosty look. Suddenly, he laughed, "Big brother! Can you stop looking so cold? If you keep it up, I’m really worried that one day Sister-in-law will get frozen out by you."
