Lily Turner had a deep and long sleep, and as dusk settled in, she still showed no signs of waking up.
Looking at the woman sleeping soundly on the bed, Easton Hols couldn’t bring himself to wake her up. After taking a deep look at her, he walked out of the room.
As he distanced himself from the room, he dialed Luke Crowe’s number.
"Captain!"
The mont the call rang once, Luke Crowe picked it up.
"Bring so food over from the canteen."
Easton Hols cut straight to the point without any excess words and issued an order to the person on the other end of the line.
"Yes!"
Not long after the call, Luke Crowe brought a thermos of food to Easton Hols. After completing the task, he imdiately left the captain’s house, not wanting to disturb the captain and his sister-in-law having their al.
"Do you really think I’m a pig?"
Looking at the thermos filled to the brim with food, Easton Hols suddenly recalled sothing Lily Turner had said to him, and her adorable expression at that ti flashed in his mind.
Recalling that scene, he couldn’t help but smile.
To ensure the food in the thermos cooled down more slowly, Easton Hols wrapped two plastic bags around the thermos. After doing all this, he left ho to et up with his three good brothers who wanted to offer him their wedding blessings.
Upon arriving at the bar they agreed on, Easton Hols only saw Thomas Fisher and not the other two friends. He raised his arm to check the ti on his watch.
"Where are the other two?"
The agreed ti had arrived, and being late wasn’t like his two best friends’ style. As he walked over to his fourth brother, he asked.
Thomas Fisher shrugged, "I don’t know."
"You don’t know? Didn’t you call them?" Easton Hols sat down not far from Thomas, glancing at the coffee table as he did.
On it were the drinks they frequently enjoyed, with glasses set aside too.
Everything was ready; they only waited for their other two friends to arrive and start the night.
Thomas Fisher hadn’t scheduled anything for himself today, and no unexpected events occurred. Consequently, he uncharacteristically arrived early.
He thought his three brothers would arrive before him, but to his surprise, none were there when he arrived.
He found a booth, ordered drinks, and played on his phone for a long while, yet still, no brothers were in sight.
Anxious from prolonged waiting, Thomas Fisher dialed Ryan Taylor, only to hear the temporary unreachable tone.
He then called Benjamin Shaw, who inford him he would be there soon. Just as he hung up to call Easton Hols, Easton walked in.
Before Thomas could voice any complaint or questions, Easton beat him to it.
"I’ve called them; one wasn’t reachable, and the other said he’d be here soon." Thomas reported truthfully and just as he was about to question Easton, the door to the booth opened.
Ryan Taylor and a girl entered the room, and as the girl erged from behind him, Easton Hols frowned slightly but then quickly and imperceptibly relaxed.
"Hi! Brothers! I’ve co to join the fun!"
Evelyn Taylor showed no discomfort, smiling and waving to Easton Hols and Thomas Fisher who were seated.
