Alice Turner relaxed, but Thomas Fisher wasn’t as at ease. Seeing how familiar Alice was with Grant Heath, he felt that Lily Turner and Grant Heath must have a good relationship in private; otherwise, Grant wouldn’t be so familiar with Alice.
Could the two of them really be just the best on-screen couple? Are the rumors between them not just baseless?
Thinking about this, Thomas couldn’t help but turn his head to look at Grant Heath, only to find Grant turning his head towards him at the sa ti.
Although Grant had sunglasses perched on his nose, Thomas could feel that Grant was looking at him too.
He didn’t hurriedly avoid eye contact but rather calmly looked back at Grant through the sunglasses.
"Hello!"
After a mont of eye contact, Thomas waved and greeted Grant.
Grant didn’t expect Thomas to take the initiative to greet him. Though surprised, he still responded politely.
It was as if the two had previously arranged this interaction; after exchanging greetings, they both withdrew their gazes and sat properly in their seats, as if nothing had happened.
Alice only noticed the interaction when they said hello to each other, completely unaware of the silent eye contact between the two n.
"That guy looks pretty cocky, doesn’t he? Is he always like this?"
Unable to figure out the situation, Thomas wanted to get so information from Alice but couldn’t ask directly, so he tried a roundabout way.
Cocky?
Alice wasn’t too happy about Thomas calling Grant cocky and slightly furrowed her delicate brows, "Are you sure there’s nothing wrong with your eyes?"
Because of the discontent she felt towards the man, her tone wasn’t very pleasant.
"When I was in school, my vision was always 20/20 during eye tests, so I can be a hundred percent sure there’s nothing wrong with my eyes."
Thomas sensed the discontent in Alice’s words but chose not to address it. He picked up on so information from her disgruntled tone.
Grant Heath seed to get along well with the two sisters in private and made a good impression on them.
Upon hearing this, Alice couldn’t help but snicker, "Ha! Schooling days? How long ago was that? Do your eyes not grow?"
As she spoke, she gave the man a dissatisfied look again.
"My eyes certainly have grown, not only bigger but better looking than before, and my vision has also improved significantly."
Thomas knew Alice didn’t an it that way, but he feigned ignorance and flashed a cheeky smile at her.
Seeing his cheeky deanor, Alice found it amusing but was too embarrassed to laugh out loud, so she rely curled her lips silently.
"You’ve got good eyes; let’s say I misspoke earlier."
She didn’t plan to continue the topic with him and grudgingly admitted it was her mistake.
"Haha!"
Thomas chuckled foolishly, and after his silly laughter, he rembered he still needed to gather information. Putting away his smile, he assud a more serious expression.
After glancing around, he looked again at Alice Turner next to him, "Sis-in-law! That cocky...that superstar Grant, what kind of person is he in private?"
Only by figuring out what kind of person Grant is can he better assist his big brother. He definitely couldn’t let that guy steal his brother’s thunder, he had to take precaution early.
Opportunities like this are rare, and he intended to seize it firmly.
