After receiving Easton Hols’ call, Alice Turner sneaked out from ho. Fortunately, she ca out in ti and stopped Lily Turner at the gate.
"Don’t go in yet, co with . Let’s talk it over together." Regardless of Lily’s willingness, Alice pulled her toward the car parked nearby. No matter what, they had to wait for Easton to arrive before doing anything else.
Lily wasn’t aware of the phone call between Easton and Alice. The reason Alice pulled her into the car, she thought, was to prevent her from being scolded by her mother, Sophia Wood.
"Sis! Over the years, I’ve trained myself with supre skills. Mom’s beatings don’t scare ," Lily said and tried to get out of the car.
Feeling worried, Alice was not about to let her go. She pushed her back into the seat, "Listen, this ti the matter is much more serious than you think."
Both mothers got into a physical fight; how could this be a trivial matter?
Seeing Alice’s serious expression, Lily realized the gravity of the situation. She didn’t try to open the door again but sat down properly, waiting for Alice to get in and discuss it with her.
Lily obediently stopped trying to get out of the car, allowing Alice’s tense nerves to relax a bit. After glancing at Lily, she closed the car door and went around to the other side to get in.
"Did his mom fight with our mom?"
Earlier on the phone, Alice only ntioned that the two moms had a fight. As for the details, Lily was completely in the dark.
Alice turned to face Lily and, after staring at her for a while, sighed and said, "I heard from Auntie Hua that our mom slapped Easton’s mom, and it was a slap on the face."
A slap on the face is a serious matter, and the other side hadn’t retaliated yet. How could they easily let this go?
"What?! Mom slapped his mom on the face." Lily’s eyes widened in shock at what Alice said.
This was completely unexpected. She thought the two had just had a tussle, without any actual fighting.
Seeing Lily’s shocked and frightened expression, Alice felt reluctant to scare her more, but the facts were there, and she had to truthfully nod: "When his mom tried to fight back, our mom blocked her. I think his mom must be especially angry now."
A slapped mother is already angry, let alone the one who got slapped, who would be even angrier.
"What happened afterward?"
Although Lily didn’t know Alia Linton very well, she had a basic understanding after these recent encounters.
Alia Linton was not soone who accepted losses easily. Even if her first counterattack was blocked, she would surely strike again until she succeeded.
"Afterward, his mom was dragged out of the house by our mom and Auntie Hua, and later his dad showed up." Alice recounted to Lily what she heard from Auntie Hua, believing that Auntie Hua wouldn’t lie or exaggerate.
"His dad ca too?"
Did the couple co straight here after leaving Grandpa’s house?

In her mind, Lily answered her own question, certain of this conclusion. She had enough judgnt to make this call.
"Did his dad get involved too after he ca?"
For a couple to gang up on one woman, isn’t it inappropriate?
